Honestly, it's better, but I now think the paint is a bit too thick (ie. not translucent enough), mainly on the right side of the pic (towards the front of the gun).

The blending is better below and on the left: we can see the glow fading when it gets further from the coil; whereas on the right, it's just plain red, and with little transition it becomes black.

I also think you should add another lighter highlight on the coil (maybe almost-pure white?) for it to be perfect.

I'm just nitpicking uh, it looks far better than my first attempt, two years ago...

Sorry, putting together a billion marines over the last decade has given me Mold Line Vision.

Obvious ones are inside seam of his left leg, and down the side of his head, mostly on his top knot wrap and the side of his ear piece.

Here's a timeline showing the Sons of Remembrances' History

History Sons of Remembrance

Early M36-Dark Founding, Founding of the Sons of Remembrance

Late M36-Munin appointed Captain of the 1st Company, Home World destroyed

Early M37-The Chapters' Home fleet, including all the artificers aboard, disappear into the warp

Mid M37-The First Forgotten War begins, many losses are taken on both sides, Gene seed of the Sons of Remembrance stolen

Late M37-Huge argument takes place, many systems brought into turmoil

Early M38- Chaos Gods work together in an un-easy alliance put Malal into endless sleep. This causes the Malalian daemons helping the Sons of Remembrance to be tossed back into the warp, Chapter Master of the Sons of Remembrance is slain, Munin takes his place

Mid M38-Sons of Remembrance are defeated and escape into the warp, taking their gene seed with them.

Early M41-Sons of Remembrance re-appear, Second Forgotten War Begins

Early M42-Munin revives Malal from endless sleep, Malalian daemons return in battle, Malal plans revenge on the other Chaos Gods, Second Forgotten War ends

Plasma marine is on hold until I fully know what i'm going to do next on the plasma its self so next up is icon bearer 1 (standed icon)
Does anyone have any ideas on a symbol for the sorcerers as I don't really like the first one I came up with and I can't think of anything else

Good idea, the only thing is though is that it is to similar to one of the the Legion symbols
see?

The memory weavers one is the one I want to change, speacialy since 'Memory Weavers' has been changed to 'Secret Bearers'

So all though it's a good idea, it just wont work.
Please keep ideas coming though.

here, i'll give you some hints:
1) Their artificers got lost in the warp with them
2) They stole their own gene-seed

Now is it making sense?

Seeming those rhinos look so small,, I'd say it's big, bigger than I first thought.

I've figured out a symbol for the sorcerers, sort of like your idea wolfshadow!
Its a book with two chains wrapped around it (vertically) and an eye.

Here are my rules for the STORMBIRD

Stormbird 850pts

Unit Type:Super Heavy Flyer
Structure Points: 5
Transport: 100 (even jump infantry and terminators count as 1 model) Rhino-based vehicles count as 15 models, Land Raiders count as 25, Bikes count as 2, Attack Bikes count as 3, Baneblades and other similar size tanks count as 50.
Weapons: 1 nose-mounted twin-linked autocannon, 1 turret mounted twin-linked autocannon, two twin-linked autocannon sponsons (on wings or turbines), Hellfury Missiles.

Special Rules
Ceramite Armour
Melta Weapons NEVER roll an extra D6 for armour penetration
Large Target
models without AA weapons use normal BS instead of hitting on 6’s

The anti-melta thing needs to go, because what you are saying there is that a Titan will get the +2D6 at half range, and this flyer will not.

Sounds reasonable. Might want to post it in the pruposed rules section. Should prob have some sort of TL heavy weapon (battlecannon or Laser Destructor) to represent the heavy weps up top.

As for how to build it....

Foamboard. with a thin styrene overlay?

And planning. lots and lots and LOTS of planning.

Agree. Iv'e seen very big project like this one needing at least 3-5months of planing and geting all of the materials before you even can start building them. But if you want it to look good and be worth the while you will not be disapointed with the result the time you've laid on the project will bring.

On your grey marines, try a wash of Asurmen Blue, It may give a nice tone to the model. If you did codex (or even fortress) grey as the main armour colour then a blue or purple wash would look great!

But a Titan isn't built to withstand high temperatures like thunderhawks or stormbirds, are they?
