Yea, the options should include Sons of Horus too as I don't see them as the same thing as the Black Legion.

Black Legion is an organisation constructed by Abaddon 500 years after the Heresy that includes a large portion of the surviving Sons of Horus (which, at this time was very weak as they had been continually at war with the Emperor's Children and their allies since being banished to the Eye) but also Abaddon's allies from other sources too.

From this small start Abaddon has constructed a new legion and has boosted their numbers up to far exceed that of any other space marine force.

The other legions are legion marine that turned traitor, but Black Legion is traitor marines turned legion.

The Black Legion isn't a Legion, the name is misleading. It's a big warband with a core of Sons of Horus.

<ahem> I would say the Iron Legion because these stoic smart guys did all the hard work no-one wanted to do.
They knew things that needed to get done and developed the skills to bring low any enemy they faced.

Alpha Legion, because the Emperor is in fact, an Alpha Legion infiltrator. Suddenly their battle cry makes a lot more sense, yes?

More seriously, I like them because of how duplicitous they are. You never necessarily know whose side they are on, and in most cases, they're less 'foaming at the mouth rar rar rar' chaos, and more 'schemes within schemes' chaos. Might be why I like Dark Angels too, and Eldar!

I do wonder whose side they will be on in the end, or if the legion itself will even be on the same side.

Iron Warriors. Pretty much made Imperial Fists irrelevant for a while. Cool colors too haha

Dark Angels. They've fooled even the Inquisition into believing that they are loyalists while still killing other Imperials.

I want to say Emperor's Children. Who doesn't love sex drugs and rock n' roll? And Fulgrim has killed more primarchs than Horus or the Emperor. But it's probably the Black Legion. They're just so many of them and Abaddon has apparently been playing the long game and his crusades have been going according to plan.

Night lords, main reason is their brutality and pretty sad back story, and their way of fighting is pretty cool. Plus my favourite characters sevatar and talos belong to the night haunter.
