Basically, the Orks and the Nid would kinda settle in to this uneasy-alliance, each giving the other the beady hairy eyeball over the table...

... and then some Ork Boss would decide that he should be in charge, because he's not as runty as this synapse creature here, while this other Nob over here sees some Carnifax with a mouth *full* of teeth over there, and figures that he's more deserving than any other Ork of that many teeth... meanwhile, some FlashGitz see the Termagaunts and their bio-rifles, and the flash that such killy-guns bring is a must-have item this shopping season for every Flashgit...

Well, carnage and hilarity ensues.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Ty for this mental picture.

Orkz are awesome.

"AM are bunch of half human-half robot monkeys who keep tech working by punching it with a wrench And their tech is so sophisticated that you could never get it wrapped it out" thing a LITTLE to seriously. It also goes "Tau tech is so awesome I wish I was Tau and not some stupid Human" thing.

Hey, don't be so sure... I've heard rumours, man... about the next Blood Angels codex.
Blood Angels battles the Tyranids. Necrons comes to the planet. Tyranids and Blood Angels forms an alliance and defeats the Necrons. Dante is so full of honor that he allows the Tyranids to live. The Tyranids feels the same.

Wrong. So very wrong. This is what happens when people form opinion based on second or third hand accounts. Blood Angles are fighting the Necrons. Tyranids arrive in great force. The Necrons and Space Marine simply stop their fighting for a few days. When the Tyranids are defeated, both forces are weak, further fighting would destroy them both. The Blood Angels retreat.

Idk, I think that if the Tyranids tried to control orks, the orks would end up just fighting everything like they always do, but in whatever direction the Hive pointed it in.

I thought that Necrons retreated... and that Blood Angels just smiled and thought "whit who did we ally our-self?"

Dante spared the Necrons because he felt that there was no honor to slay the Necrons. I mean, what?

Hehe maybe the Big mek managed to get some kind of micro-chip into the hive-tyrants brain so he can controll it with a remote controll. He just has to press the "Tywanid-fingy-WAAAAGH"-button and watch the sparks fly

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

No, that's not true. The main reason is that there was a strong possibility of the destruction of the Blood Angel force for no benefit, hence his leaving. The Necron motivations seem to have been similar, or possibly were completely different - we don't really know. The honour part was a small add on at the end.

The closest you'd get to Tyranids and Orks allying is a Genestealer Cult within an Orkish population, like in the picture kronk posted. However, that'd only be Orks and Genestealers (and various hybrids, presumably), not an actual Tyranid force.

What would happen if they somehow did unite has already been said; the galaxy would be doomed.

Planet Arisa

The two parties wouldn't ally; they would try to subjugate eachother hers how it would go down:
For the tyranids: the nids would aquire an ork spore and use it to create an ork spy. after infiltrating the orks, the spy would reproduce asexually, creating a situation not unlike genestealer cults in the imperium. However, the tyranids would instead use the cults to discover the ork hierarchy: da biggest rulez. using this intel, the tyranids would create a super ork that is then inserted into the ork horde to kil the current boss, replace him, and bring down any resistance. The new boss then uses his offspring to keep the other orks from killing the nids when they arrive.

Da orks: simple: katch sum bugz, take out da brainz, and put a squig's in der'.

Apparently the Imperium is ill-equipped for a siege. Therefore I have proposed the development of siege guns, siege tanks, siege rockets, siege armor, siege planes, siege ships, siege wagons, siege bikes, siege boots, siege dogs, siege cats(for the siege rodents), siege eating utensils, siege horses, siege rations, and siege babies. Oh, and siege-spouses, especially of the female variant.

It clearly states that the reason why Dante didn't attack the Necrons after the battle was because there was no honor in it.

Well, I doubt there's Honor to be had in uselessly throwing the lives of your men away against a foe that's not really doing much yet.
