Ha ha ha! Well, in my defence, I don't actually play yet, or at least haven't for years! And I don't plan to until my army is completely painted, so, like 2 or 3 years from now!

I have a couple of questions though, what color should I make the Loin Cloth/Tabard thing, because I think red would be too much red? And I'm not loving the color of the Daemon Weapon, any suggestions?

Get out of my head! I was actually thinking of making the faces glow...or at least try to!

Hahahaha! Do you know of any tutorials for painting glow effects? I'm not having any luck with searches.

Well, Weety didn't get back to me yet, but I went ahead and started working on a green glow...

It sucks so far, and I'm not happy with it, but can anyone give me pointers or suggestions to improve the effect? Or just an idea for an intesting effect that would look good for a Daemon Weapon that is easier?

OK. Well, I stuck with the technique for the Axe, it looks a bit better now, but the front of the axe looks much better I think. I still have some spots to paint to finish up the base coat. Then the wash stage begins! I am planning to add some OSL lighting on the armor and such from the axe, not sure how to go about that. If anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears!

A bit lighter green on the faces me thinks.

Nice work on the Abaddon conversion. As far as the tabbard goes... I would make it a dirty white color with some blood splatter on it from the ork head. Good work and good luck on finding a solution you're happy with.

Thanks! I'll give that color scheme a try with the tabbard. And as for the blood, I'm not really sure why I am doing all these details, he'll probably be covered in blood from head to toe...but on the off chance that something shows through, I guess I need to make it look as real as possible!

Thanks! For the Deamon Weapon, I've decided to just call it ancient, and as such, it is heavly coroded, that is why it has such heavy patina. It seamed easier than re-painting the whole thing to have a different color OSL glow. This one took me hours. Maybe next time, I'll get it right.

Yay! Progress! Well, actually I think I'm done with the World Eaters Lord. Still not sure how I want to field him, Count-as Abbadon, Zhufor, or just a Generic Lord. Geuss it might depend on how many points I want to dedicate to him. Anyway, here he is, pretty much done, I am still in the middle of putting coats of varnish on him.

Thanks! And now that I have this guy out of the way, I can work on some (hopefully) less detailed models! And Yay! I got my air compressor this weekend and dusted off my airbrush! I need some SERIOUS practice!
