Damn I really want to dig out my Phoenix club guard girls now, I like the colour scheme as well simple but effective.

I need to get some of those arms now, the heads you used are they the heads that came with the torsos and legs set just with your own helmet added or are they completely new sculpts ?

I only ask as the first head looks like the set one and the second one looks like the hasslefree female head.

Thanks LDD! You are correct, they are hasslefree heads, and I sculpted the helmets onto them. I can only assume the Phoenix club set you are talking about used Hasslefree heads too.

Lady Khornates, and the boys of Nurgle

I've considered using those female apocalypse survivors as Khornate cultists as well! Now you've shown me it can be done, maybe I'll grab a box of them!

The Nurgle guy has some bad back acne there he is in need of clearasel or burning

No hasslefree heads were used in that set it was before the times of those, if you run low on the torsos or legs give me a shout I might have a few spare ones around

Zergsmasher, the original bodies for the female apocalypse survivors are much thinner than these, they could work but might be too small. Give it a try and see!

LDD, yeah, not much else to do after work. I also have a Terminator Choas Lord I'm starting on, so my production will slow down. And only a week to go before I head home, so we'll see how much I get done.

I'm good for the female bodies. I have enough for three more squads, but I don't think I'll use them yet.

I didn't get as far as I wanted to on my Nurgle Lord before I got side-tracked to my Nurgle Deamon Prince.

But I do like the looks of this guys so far. Still some touch ups to do, but coming along nicely:

There's some shiny parts, those are still wet from a wash.

Ha he has a kind of lizard, toad puss filled fat guy about him just brilliant, plus I kind of get a fish feel to it as well.

Maybe this is a silly question, but did you use green stuff or something to make that left shoulder pad? It looks awesome, I was just wondering if that is an actual bit or a custom sculpt.

Woah, that khorne leader is brilliant, definitely looks in charge. Loving the Terminator Lord too.

Damn your on a run here mate that commissar looks deadly as hell, and the cultist looks great in the colour choice.

Also like the terminator and nice alternative arm choice, great sculpt on the pad and the flesh tone turned out great.

It's been a while, but I finally go the female Khorne Cutlists done!

Now I'm working on some Nurgle Obliterators.

Looking fierce ! Undoubtfully khornate, but a also with a proper milita look. They even have a kindoff comissar !

OK, so I've done some work on a Nurgle Obliterator, and a Nurgle Spawn. They both still need some work, but you can see where they're going.

Looking good my man loving the khorne cult unit and the commissar really finishes it of perfectly, the obliterator looks a little too bright to me needs more nurgling up but your on the right track.

The spawn is a good the mix of Genestealer parts and your own handy work, blended the two together nicely.

And the dwarf conversion stuff was received quite well. I haven't seen any finished pictures of what he did with them, so I hope they worked like he had hoped.

I'm putting the finishing touches on the Oblit and spawn. gotta get them looking Nurgly, but not OTT.

Huh, a little over a year. I need to get better at posting. I have done quite a bit of painting. It'll be a month or more before I can get any decent pictures, most of the painted stuff is at home. But the Khorne and Nurgle armies are coming along...slowly.

More recently, as in today, I purchased a bunch of models to start a 30k army. Finally!

I'm going with Word Bearers. I just like the feel of it.

I got Zardu Layak, Mhara Gal, 5x Gal Vorbak, 5x Ashen Cirlce, and 40x Mk III Legion Veterans from the Burning of Prospero pack. (Gotta love eBay!)

I have been doing a fair bit of modifying stuff too. Mostly just chaos-ing up stuff that needed it.

Anyway, hopefully pictures soon! (in a month or so)

Anyone still following this thread let me know what you're up to!

P.S. I have moved back to Montana! I got tired of the city life.
