I feel the same when I charge in with 10 Death Company. 4 attacks on the charge with bolt pistol and CCW makes 40 strength 5 attacks. Power swords or Power fisdts may be involved

They kinda freak out when I wipe out one squad after another and refuse to die thanks to FNP and my accompanying Chaplain's Invul save.

Had a game last weekend, made about 95% of cover saves on my vehicles.
Saying my opponent was "slightly miffed" by the end is a bit of an understatement.

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

dayve110, presuming that the W/L/D in your signature isn't you poking fun at someone, you and I should get in a game. Won't count for anything for me since it isn't in a tournament, but you would hopefully prove to be a challenging opponent.

What do you say? Got Vassal?

I have developed a knack for taking Ragnar Blackmane (and for some reason ONLY him) off the board with Heavy Bolters. This goes way back to Second Ed.
It got so bad that some former SW opponants still will not field him against me.

Of all the races of the universe the Squats have the longest memories and the shortest tempers. They are uncouth, unpredictably violent, and frequently drunk. Overall, I'm glad they're on our side!

Back in the days when I played Guard, Opponent deep strikes Chaos Terminators, they scatter and end up just out of position. My next turn a 10 man guardsman squad proceeds to tear them apart in 1 round of shooting with nothing but lasguns.

Felt good

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Back when 2nd edition was the hip and happening edition of 40K, my brother and I were playing (his SM vs my Orks). His terminators charge into my grot sceen and kill pretty much all of them. The few remaining survivors strike back, causing a single wound.

My brother is confident that his terminator armour will save him, but he rolls a "1" and his elite warrior falls to a lowly grot.

The rest of the grots are quickly destroyed, but it still remains that one of the worst units in the game managed to take out one of the (fluff wise at least) best units in the game

Wasn't a Terminator save 3+ on 2D6 back then?

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

I honestly can't remember it was that long ago.

Then I am mistaken in my memory

Also granted we were both relatively young back then...
