IF the shipping really is that high to the US (20€?) then this really isn't a good deal at all.

The Aleph deal is literally only a few dollars more from the Warstore.

But still, it looks to REALLY help out anyone in Europe!

The cool thing about this stuff is that it shows how to play to beginner players... now this means the ones that are purchasing the Army Packs today.

20 euros is kind of high... 8 euros for one set here... even if i wanted to help you out I doubt that shipping from here to you is much less than 12 euros ( depends on weight) ( and i only ship stuff signed for)... let me check what happens to shipping from corvus if i order a set for you... a sec.


well for 2 sets the store charges me 11.90euros shipping so yeah I think that shipping to you is less than 16euros... how much less I have no idea witout weight. Maybe you would save 4 or 5 euros or so, dunno.

Our folks here are pooling together orders to split the shipping costs and make things a lot cheaper.

Also careful on the intro video from BoW there is a few mistakes but overall they explained everything very well. That video is the 40k equivalent of necrons standing in front of FNP blood angels and simply roll hit/wound/armor save without any special rules lol.

If you've not heard of anyone playing locally: just be a trendsetter. Pick up the rulebooks and two small forces(that YOU like, no less) and arrange a few demo games.

Get the buzz going yourself if nobody else is.

Warstore Pieced out at 20%: $96
Shipping from Warstore: $5.95

$25 is still a chunk of savings, but be aware that the shipping will prob take a chunk of time from spain vs the next week from warstore.

US people don't forget you may have to pay import fees.

I'm guessing that is where the huge shipping comes from, there is no additional charge tacked on.

90 dollars in figures to play a full army game of Infinity. How many models does it take to play 40k? How many people actually take the time to paint and full assemble said models for 40k?

It doesn't matter to me if I need ten models or one hundred models to build an army. 90 dollars/euro is expensive for ten figures in my opinion. The discounted price is about right, but it sure doesn't feel like a discount.

I don't think they can guarantee that can they? If the "pay out the nose" side on the big die that Customs rolls comes up you're screwed regardless aren't you?

Turns out it IS cheaper than the Warstore, and with no local store...

Shipping wasn't bad, I suppose.

Including everything, it was $70 for the 9 figures, with one of those being a larger T.A.G.!

I've never had it come up before in any of the purchasing I have ever done from overseas... Is there a certain $ threashhold?

I suppose it would be even better if I bought aleph AND combined. Then I could demo the game.

It does seem that way. I was thinking Aleph and Hasqqislam, but I'm one of those people who doesn't do something if I think other people think it is popular.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I've just ordered myself the rules and an ALEPH and Yu Jing starter set.

ALEPH is probably popular in this thread because, if you've been playing/collecting INFINITY for any amount of time, you probably have many of the other figures presented in this deal.

ALEPH is still relatively new, and the chances are that many of us have resisted starting a new faction...

...but can resist no longer!

Yeah, my interest in Aleph is also tied to the figures. They look incredible, and that Marut is one sexy, sexy robot.

I'm torn. I really don't have a lot of spare cash this week, but I've also really been wanting to start Infinity. I'll probably talk with some of my gaming buddies tonight and see if they're interested in giving it a proper go. If so, I'll snag Aleph and the books.

Personally, I'm more interested in Yu Jing. And I am looking into starting Infinity sometime soon. But I'm more interested in the robots and remotes than the bikers. And I don't know enough about Infinity to know exactly how it all plays and what roles everything has on the battlefield.

So while it looks like an excellent deal, I think I'll have to pass.

You can download their army builder off their website for free and under each unit you can click their special rules to link right to their wiki page that tells you what the special rule does. I agree though that Yu Jing's remotes are beautiful, I'm a Nomad Remoteaholic lol

Check out the Beasts of War Infinity week and you should get a pretty good feel for how the game plays. As a player of it, big thumbs up!

They have made an unboxing video of the ALEPH starter pack.

Big thing to remember with that is that is the "starter pack" not the army deal that is up. The army deal includes the starter pack and additional figures.

Beasts of War are really making cool thing s this week.

IMHO, the best ARMY PACK is the Haqqislam Army Pack.

Are you referring to something other than the sale? The sale is specifically the Army packs and says so. Even in the title of the tread.
