I am undecided on getting the Vanilla marine Battleforce (or any Battleforce at all) and the starter sets because of how much they are. $150 AUD!!! Raaaaaaaaargh

If you think of it in relation to other hobbies...
Because I play AA hockey, which, just to participate, is 2000-3000 CAD a year, plus equipment, plus tourny, plus money to pay the coach/trainer...This hobby is a few hundred and you get to play forever. That's decent enough. (still not as good as ma hockey tho...)

Agreed, my other hobbies are collecting Hockey memorabilia (not cards, stuff like Game worn Jerseys/skates/sticks/gloves), and collecting records. For the cost of some of my rarer pieces (a Mike Richter jersey from the '94 playoffs), I could buy my whole Ork army twice over.
