imperial armour 8 raid on kasterblahblah has rules for a ork bommer which has transport cap of 20 stormboyz who can jump out from it. its 300 points though.

Thanks Bigfish, Ill take a look. I managed to finally finish the Mordian heavy weapons. Some of them I got on Ebay and they had been based with something I couldnt strip off. Some of the guns are a little messy looking, but overall I think they are ok. Certainly enough firepower for any eventuality. Speaking of Ebay, this bad boy just showed up.

One more quick update, Baneblade is finished. Im just as upset with the GW prices as everyone else, but damn, you get a lot of model for your money. This thing is something else.....

I finished up another paint frenzy. All I really have left is a Valkyrie and a few stray Mordians. So the BAneblade is finished and I took a shot of the whole army, just for kicks.

My monitor must be going out case those green skinz dont look green.

But really those are some really clean looking models. Good job on da 'umies.

Been a while since I last checked this out. All looking very good, orks are building up nicely. And by my calculations (which may be way off, I painted all the beads on my abacus in iridescent colours, and I just like to flick 'em back and forth whilst using it now) you built and painted the baneblade in a day. That's outrageous.

Yeah, monkeytroll, I think it only took about a day and a half. Schedule has been allowing these out of control paint frenzies.

Yeah, deal I made with her. I can paint all I want as long as I sell them when Im done. At one point, a while ago, I actually had 5 2,000-2,500 point marine armies. She didnt understand the point of buying more "little guys" when I had a closet full. She actually suggested repainting them. Ugh.

I haven't decided if Im doing Dark Elves or Space Marines. In the meantime, the Orks continue.....

Thanks everyone, Im trying something new. Got 2 Vellejo weathering powders and some Testors semi-gloss varnish. I have Dullcote too, but figured I would try this first. This poor Rhino has been painted and stripped about 2 dozen times. Anyway, some examples of how I will attempt to "orkify" the vehicles walkers and armor the boyz are wearing. Right now I dont think I will seal the infantry, the gloss does give a darker, slightly shiny look to the armor. I think it would work great on power armor, but not skin and clothing.

SO I finally managed to finish the Warboss and get the Big Mek started. He is not Orkimedes. Im toying with Dark Eldar, just picked up these guys. If I decide to build an army it will be the first non SM, IG, or Ork army I have ever made. Those jet fighter things are just too cool.

Thanks, Damien. Didnt do any Ork stuff this week. I have been playing around with my next SM army. Im thinking Astral Claws or Raptors. I also grabbed some Testors Dullcoat, liking it so far.
