You have some great looking stuff coming! Very dynamic poses, definitely an "action-orientated" look to everything you've got on deck. Looking forward to seeing them painted!

Thanks. I have a hard time leaving minis in a "static" pose... since if you build them straight out of the box, every squad will look mostly the same. So most of these guys will be somewhat different and converted in some way.

Paint on all of the non Terminator squads will be done after I get their shoulder pads cast. as of right now, none of them have their left one. And thanks again.

Really great way of thinking, I've seen to many models get ruined by bad posing. Looking forward to those terminators

You're IW army is on a good way!

Good sculpt job on the soulder pads (I guess you've spent some time on those, right?)

@ Limbo- I think I'm going to work on the Terminators today, getting a little burnt out on the Land Raider. Just need to sculpt their shoulder pads and add some other GS details... maybe some minor bionics work.

@ Hyenajoe- Thanks. Yeah, the shoulder pads take a little bit of time. By the time I'm done sculpting the design on one, the GS is starting to cure. So, about an hour and a half or so, per shoulder pad. I still need to clean up the design a little bit...

So far it's just the single squads of Khorne Berzerkers, CSMs, and Terminators, and one each of Dreadnought, Land Raider, and Vindicator.

Eventually I plan to have a Apocalypse sized force, but for now I'll add to it as I go along.

And I'm not in a hurry, since my local opponents are my nephew and my girlfriend, and they've done much less work on theirs than I have on mine. And I don't have any plans for the tournament scene any time soon.

Thanks everyone that has posted so far. I apologize for the long delay between this post and the last. I have been busy with life mostly, but I have been working on my army when I can.

I've got a Berserker, Terminator, and standard CSM all in various degrees of paint. I have added much to my Land Raider... including a dozer blade... I might even shoot some pics of my nephews Defiler that I have been helping him with.

Anyways, New stuff should be coming in the next few days. Once again, I apologize for the wait.

Ok so I finally got some time to get some pics taken, and and this time there is more than just my IW in the mix. First up is a Blood Angels tactical marine that I assembled and greenstuffed as a demo for my girlfriend.

Second are a couple of shots of my nephews Nurgle Defiler that I've been helping him with. It's a little rough, as he's not that good with hobby knives, but it's getting there. Also, he's not sure what he wants to do with it's legs yet...

Finally comes my guys. The first one is a shot of three. One each of Berzerker, Terminator, and standard CSM. They are in various stages of paint, but I wanted to show the overall look of the three squads I'm working on.

And lastly, comes the Land Raider. Since last time, I've added rivets(in the form of glass beads)... bigger than I wanted, but I think they look ok on the extra armor pieces. I'm also working on a dozer blade for it.

It's kinda ugly right now, but I'm confident it will turn out like the centerpiece I've been envisioning...

Thanks Skalk. It's my nephews like I said, I'm just helping him with his army. I'm really looking forward to what he does with it as well.

He has a pretty good start on it, but isn't sure what he wants to do with the legs yet... That's why I put it on here. So if anyone has any ideas, suggestions or links, feel free to post them.

Just a quick update... been working on the Land Raider over the last few days, and I've got the dozer blade fitted and working. It still needs more work, but it's getting there. I'll take more pics and post them tomorrow.

Thanks tipios. Well, I promised you all that there would be more pics of the Land Raider up today, and here they are.

shot of the dozer blade in the closed position. I have more greenstuff work to do to it, such as finishing the chaos star... and one side of it is a little loose.

[Thumb - Joes pics 025.JPG]
Another shot of the dozer blade, this time in the open position. I made it open and close to show that the front hatch was still usable.

[Thumb - Joes pics 027.JPG]
Please ignore the rough greenstuff work, it will be fixed before it goes into primer.

If anyone wants closer pics of any of it, feel free to ask.

I'm personally interested in getting an aerial view, so as to see the mechanics allowing the front ram to open and close. But that is a cool idea- ram into something and disgorge some Iron Warriors into or through fortifications. Kinda Gorgon like.

Ditto the call for an aerial- that's some really impressive curved plasticard work, and the GS is looking good too. Can't wait to see how it looks with paint on. Bang-up job!

@ Lord Kaesar II- Glad you like the idea. As for the aerial shot, well right now there is nothing to see... it's just a simple sliding piece.

However, I was planning on mounting a non functional hydraulic piston style device on the back of each side for a mechanical look. Will be made out of plastic tubing...

@ Savnock- Thanks, but it's not actually plasticard... just a curved portion of my son's long dead DVD player, well its plastic shell anyways...the same stuff as the armor plates. Dead electronics can be very useful in conversions.

@ tipios- thanks again, and it's good to see you're back on with your projects.

@ Miss Dee- Thanks and P.M. sent.

Wow, that is a very good use of an old DVD player

Are you using magnets to hold the dozerblades together when it is closed?
