The last line, where it states the in game rules for the NFF, states a pair of them. In addition, in the rules section for buying unit upgrades you buy a pair of them

Thus, in RULES you buy a pair, unlike the FLUFF for powerblades.

They are still a single entry and a pair of weapons that are actually two onehanded weapons, proving your assumptions above wrong.

how are you weilding 2 falchions AND a pistol? thats 3 hands.

You concluded yourself that falchions are one weapon, because otherwise you would get a 2CCW bonus. As it does not state to be a two handed weapon, a pair of falcions would be a single-handed weapon and allow a pistol to be wielded in addition.

twin and pari are fluff. we've been saying that the whole time. yes snikrots is a single entry but it specifically states in his rules they are 2 ccw. just cuz you hold 2 doesnt mean they count as 2 ccw for rules sakes. models doesnt =/= rules, if that were the case, every space marine in existance (that iv played against anyway) would not have a bolt pistol for assaulting.

Pair is not fluff for NFF. Not at all.

Pair is not only in the rules for the weapon, but EVERY entry where you can actualy buy them you buy a pair.

Pair IS rules for falchions. It might be fluff for the eldar weapon, and with reference to the old codices, I'd say it is fluff.

Either one one-handed weapon named "pair of falchions" or two one-handed weapons named "flacion". Anything else is against the rules.

pair is fluf, but if they have the falchions and pistol then yes i agree.

my arguement for the pair and pistol was solely because you cant have 2 ccw and a pistol that too many hands. but since i feel falchions is fluff then if you have 2 falchions and 1 pistol that +2A

Any weapon is a onehanded ccw unless stated otherwise. Any pair of weapons are two onehanded ccw unless stated otherwise.

purposes of gaining additional attacks in close combat? (p37)
A: All pistols, close combat weapons and any weapons
that are specifically stated as single-handed weapons in
their rules

Is it a close combat weapon? then it counts as a single-handed weapon.

powerblades still dont. the weapon is considered 1 in the entry for upgrading your exarch.
