Basically what I was getting at. We all start off as females.

Maybe you hang out with immature women. Maybe you're attracted to immature women because you think they'll let you shpadoink them.

So at the end of the day what is the point?

I'm sure that Sanguinary Guard are very buff, but not buff enough that each of their muscles needs its own space within the armour that shows on the exterior skin. Such stylistic armour was common throughout history and would, to an extent I am sure, be carried through with female marines with a slightly exaggerated hip and bust. It is noted that many Space Marines take on the looks and characteristics of their Primarch, hence it could be argued that if you created a new "female" progenitor it could be coded that she would retain and even emphasise female characteristics as well as increase bone and muscle density etc.

You have to remember we are dealing with fiction. In the real world such alterations would probably be more utilitarian, but not in the world of make believe.

Really though, all that's needed to make femmarines is female heads. Well aside from the issue of scouts anyway.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

DarthSpader wrote:i still think this obsession over making "all female" or "female variants" of armies that dont already include them is just manifestiation of ones frustrated libido. i mean really.... just google it.

otherwise the only armies that would really have any reason to field all female warriors, would be the respective eldar races. and it is doable. eldar can field female dire avengers/gaurdians, banshees, and with some conversion work rangers and farseer/warlock. warp spiders are armored enough that it wouldnt really show, and the same is true for scorps.

dark eldar have female torsos on all existing plastic kits, and with enough work can be converted into just about anything save for haemonculus units (wich are deformed and androgenous anyway)

other armies, have no reason for females. gaurd simply dont recruit them, space marines you couldnt tell the diffrence anyway because bulky armor would simply cover up anything identifying. armor and thick clothes do not "form fit" and a woman wearing such would pretty much look like her male squad mates. (look at women in full military gear today as example), chaos for the same reason as above, daemons well.... they have daemonettes but fluff wise chaos daemons dont really disginuish between the genders. they simply appear as they wish. tau wouldnt recruit any into military service (do they even have females?) orks are fungus and asexual, and bugs are well bugs. to make an all female tyranids army just paint them up colorful like. research insect gender and visibile diffrences for ideas. now lets 'finally' put this to bed eh?

How about you realize that some people have a wife and that wife may or may not have said "I would play if my army could be cute."

So naturally, being a man who enjoys doing things with his wife; I look into building an all female "cute" army that I wouldn't mind playing just incase my wife says it isn't for her.

Stop assuming every one who wants or needs a female army is a prepubescent sleeze. On top of that; what do you care if I DO want a female army? You mad brah? Yea. You mad.

If they want cute i think a game based on a galatic war between civilisations that willingly kill their own to protect the masses and that has unstoppable hordes on unimaginable terror in the form of giant aliens and deamons isn't for them.

Your point is a bit pointless its like saying boys say ''well i would play with your ponies, but they are boring and don't have laser guns''. GW have a format, they have a target market and they have very in depth universes and unfortunetly for this wife, she does not fit that. It has nothing to do with not wanting women into the game, GW doesn't care its more money for them, its not about producing female minitures, GW does sell many female models (and is probably very close in proportion to the actual number of women active in real world armies). Its about the fact that war isn't cute, and a game based on war and a hellish imagining of the future of humanity in a terrifying universe isn't cute. Producing cute models (i.e. unfluffy and unrealistic models) would be a terrible mistake for GW because gaining a few sales from people like this wife would lead to a sharp decline in its actual target market.

So you don't understand either human development or the fluff describing the creation of space marine.

Prepubesant means before puberty, now to save explaining how puberty works i will give you a link (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puberty). Children before puberty have very few sexually defined features, it is the hormones in puberty that induce these differences. If a child is taken as a recruit the normal hormones and growth patterns are replaced by those of the space marine process, so the idea that a female marine would have bigger hips and bust is idiotic.

Sisters are my 3rd army so I plan to wait for the new plastics to bulk out the army. But still ebay and trades can help lower the high prices as sisters are pricey as there all metal currently. GW has the dex for free on their site it just doesn't have the allie rules

I know that a lot of people like 40k the way it is, but why do people get butthurt at the mere mention of Fe-Marines? I love the Space Marines, and I have no problem a woman being an Astartes.

All these people getting ass hurt over some female miniatures and whether girls are allowed to make characters cute or what ever are bringing the lols. I wish some of you ardent "anti girls" would post some pictures of yourself. I would love to see what you folks look like in RL. My imagination is not being flattering when I imagine what you guys must look like.

This is just ridiculous (all these prejudice people must be ugly basement dwellers, oh the irony). Most people that are into 40k have no problem with girls or women playing or GW selling female models. There are however alot of people who are just down right confused by people who want cute and war to go together, it goes against everything the 40k universe is about (funny and war is fine, especially for players from the RT days). People need to understand that if they play in a community that like the setting, the community won't like someone willfully ignoring the setting, its like a player pretending its a rugby match during a football game.

I'm going to go buy some pastels and paint my new gretchin in pinks and purples. I saw some space marines like that once; so maybe I can pass those off as female butch gretchin. "Butchin" maybe? Grim dark that, buddy.

Chaos Daemon Army of Slaanesh is a all female army, bit twisted though?

"Brothers! I have seen the future and it is grim. We shall still be fighting our fallen brothers 10,000 years from now, but we shall not be remembered. All records of us will be lost and forgotten, all knowleage of our existence denied and our name classed as heracy! We shall lose our home and spend eternety drifting through space as vengeful spectres, smiting any enermy of mankind foolish enough to stand in our way. Let these facts fuel your hate! Show no fear, show no mercy and show no remorse! We are death incarnate! We are fury given form! We are the brothers of the 2nd legion!"
