Also, just makes me wonder what parents really do these days. My father is 64 has had many surgeries and can't move well and i still wouldn't dream of even talking back to him for fear of getting beat.... and I'm 28 and twice his size.

How the hell did he not see that coming? I mean having had a bow, it's not the weapon of choice if you flip. So you're all worked up... whilst in this state you go to your bow case, take the bow out, assemble the limbs, string the damn thing, grab an arrow and then draw it.

Don't know about anybody else but I would of got the hint at that stage!

You must not be very familiar with modern bows. These things get very high-tech and can be fairly easy to use and do not require assembly of limbs or stringing. You just knock the arrow, pull the string and you are ready to rock & roll.

Chances are the bow, depending on the type, was a typical hunting bow that could have been specially outfitted for her. Modern hunting bows are almost always attuned to the person so that the draw weight is within their capabilities. Depending on how strong/big her old man was, if the bow had been his I doubt she would have been able to shoot him with it, so it must have been hers.

There's an old county law that never actually got taken away here...
The specifics are a touch vague but essentially you are allowed to shoot a Welshman with a longbow if he is in the city after midnight...

Actually, its legal for you to shoot a Scotsman with a longbow as long as the Scotsman is out and about after dark in York. I believe its legal to shoot a Welshman with a longbow on any day except for Sunday.

It isn't actually, county law is overridden by national law and national law says it isn't okay to kill people.
