The topic title didn't specify TV or movies, but the discussion seems to be TV and I'm going to side with the vote for Hawaii Five-O if I'm to limit myself to TV. The ORIGINAL Mort Stevens Hawaii Five-O theme song has been a favorite of mine since the show was still on the air. By the way, the original soundtrack album is finally available on CD after years of being out of print. I've been trying to upgrade my old
LP to CD for years and finally was able to do that last year:

The Ventures, who played on some of the episode soundtracks for Hawaii Five-O also released their own version of the theme song, quite a good one and it was a big hit at the time and helped to promote the TV show, helping it become a hit.
Some other favorite TV show themes of mine: Bernard Hermann's Twilight Zone ending theme (there's more than one theme for that show, check it out), Barry Gray's theme for Gerry Anderson's UFO, The Outer Limits (the original), Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, Star Trek Voyager (the theme was the best part of the show), Futurama, The Mighty Boosh, the original opening theme song for Mystery Science Theater 3000.
