this would be an epic list to play against just because i'd get to kill lots of things even if i did not win! would probably try to avoid tanks because the grots couldnt kill it, or i could just play a line of LRBT's...

Yep and one of those units will have feel no pain to boot. Probably be a good idea to start them 30 wide as a shield for the rest of the grots.

that is alot of grots >_< seems liek you could white prime and do just either a wash or simple paint job one color at a time. take a few hours a day over 3-4 days sure it'd onyl be a few colors but that's fine for table top

this is one of my favorite views of armies, sometimes i just set up my blobs of guardsman in a super blob and stare at them from that exact same view, i like how many it makes the blob have.

If you have an old deff dredd(a la 2nd or 3rd ed) they too were crewed by grots. Either that or the old man at my FLGS was lying through his teeth to me...

I think the old dredds had arms or something sticking out, which looked weedy and small compared to the orks. I need to find a picture of one but the guy had been playing orks since the days of rogue trader, so I am willing to believe him on ork related models and the like.

Old dreads definitely did not have arms sticking out of them (anymore than the new ones did). The dreads before that version? I have no clue.
