How would you react if someone wanted to fight you with 650 grots (if i did my math right) it would probably be a VERY easy fight because of lack of anything that could dent a tank, but would you play against said person? Seems like their turns would take forever with so many models haha

I'd play if for no other reason that amuesment, Heck I'd even leave out vehicles just to try and make it more even.

It would take a while, for sure. I'd need to put out at least a hundred shots every turn to kill every single one. Which I can't do, under any circumstance. I can't get into bolter range until basilly T3, then I'd have to disembark, waste my bolter shots, then assault next turn....

I'm excited just thinking about it now. HOW THE HELL would I be able to beat that?

Would kind of be fun with the amount of flame templates the Witch Hunters can throw out.

Grots are in Killa Kans too, so they would be able to at least open some tanks.

Not saying it wouldn't be an easy army to pulverise, in all sorts of inventive ways, but you'd have to admit it would have a "WTF!!" effect.

I would so fight that. With the lowest model count list I could make out of my forces. That battle would be... priceless.

I would battle them and whatever the victor I would then spend a month afterwards in my workshop (Read:Basement) creating a diorama of a mahoosive pile of grot bodies with my commander standing on top proclaiming his victory or lamenting his defeat to the sound of gun-fire and presumably a lot of screaming and no little amount of accidental defecation.

I would give that a whack!

His movement phase would be rather short, with 650 grots it's not like he can move them very far.

Grot base is approx 1" diameter, and there are 650 of them.
Standard deployment zone (pitched battle where deploy 12" on from a table edge on 6x4 table) has a surface area of 576 square inches, so thats 576 grots placed B2B and a load deployed in reserve.

Table quarters is still only 864 square inches, so a bit of spare room in this case.

So either way, assuming no terrain and perfectly flat board those grots are B2B for the entire game more or less.

Movement phase becomes a doddle, just use a big shovel to move the back row of grots 6" forwards, and hopefully all the ones in front will be shoved forwards as well!

Oh and OP your math is wayyyy off if we assume standard FoC (6 troops). You have 30 x 6 = 180 grots, 18 runtherders which only comes to a mere 720pts!

Take it into apocalopalypse and your math pans out fine though!

This army could potentially cause serious damage though, 650 S3 shots at BS4 EVERY turn, nothing i feel can wither that storm unless they get a T2 assault (or have anything with T7/ an AV value...)
