Okay, a Grot army MUST have Kans and Big Gunz in it. There's some anti-tank and artillery support.

The grots could down anything that runs with all those shots.

The answer? (Besides the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT, of course) BASILISKS! And Banehounds. Lots and lots of Banehounds.

Damn my dakka list will have a fun time with this.

I've played with 120 Grots... It was actually really difficult to even fit them on the table, let alone find cover or get LOS. All of them ended up breaking and running by turn 5... ALL OF THEM.

Maybe if you took them to a Games Workshop store game where there is almost no terrain to block LOS... Then they might be quite devastating.

I want to play this... I'd have to run a ragnar list Give my Wolf priest saga of the warrior... Oh this would be FUN! anyone in the sydney area got enough grots for this?

If my math is right, then its like $1 a point for all those grots.

I can't tell you how happy this idea has made me. This is just like what I imagined when my boyfriend was introducing me to the hobby. I wanted grots, and loads of them. Because, you know, they're just so damn cute when you strap em up with big guns and stikkbombs..

....I'm debating starting this army now. Max grots...shokk attack gunz. Would be glorious... Anyone selling grots?

Its too bad 650 grots is illegal, because that sounds like epic win.

Buy night goblins from WHFB. They are close enough to grots and come in large numbers. Or if you can, get your hands on an old Skull Pass starter set. You can make grots AND squats!

1870 total

throw in a few big guns to keep the theme of all grots to even up to 2k and just laugh my way to a loss unable to do anything, but just being one huge tarpit... heck i might even be able to pull a tie on a an objective game due to contesting everything

Definitely would play against it. If it was a close friend we'd probably both be laughing as he shows up with 650 grots and I show up with a massive number of termagants. Would have to be a pretty big table, though...

For what it's worth, you guys are forgetting that the Runtherder has a Slugga (BS2, S4)...

But while that's all well and good, the 'problem' here is that Grot Blasta/Slugga only have 12'' range :(.

If you ever ran a big pack of the little guys, you'll know it's actually quite difficult to get all of your 30 or so shot in range on a single target, You'd be lucky to get more then 50 shots within range with such a massive blob of grot. I play with 20 Grots and 2 RH quite often, and it's a rare occassion where they can actually line up all their 22 shots.
