Also, with strength 10 he cleaves through vehicles and one shots most non EW characters. nothing like seeing your 205 coteaz torn in half by one attack from a necron HQ.
FYI, corteaz only costs 100 points, so i wouldn't be all that worried.

I think Vulkan because what he does with Meltas. With such a vehicle centric game now a days, having meltas like that really is useful.

I would tend to agree but with vehicles like the eldar (wave serpent i think?), the monolith, and the stormraven that ignore melta as it is yo may go the entire game without actually benifiting from that.

Pretre: Are repressors assault vehicles? If they are, I'm gonna need emergency pants.
n0t_u: No, but six can shoot out of it. Other than that it's a Rhino with a Heavy Flamer thrown on if I remember correctly.
Pretre: Thanks! I guess my pants are safe and clean after all.

None of them ignore melta entirely. They just don't let you get the uber-penetration dice at half range that you would normally get. I've lost Monoliths to lucky melta shots before. Automatically Appended Next Post: Toastedandy wrote:Weirdboyz, or old zogwort.
Hard to argue with a psyker that blows his own eyes out of his head turning an entire Guard company into squigs Awesome stuff

Eldrad in a Seer council - Hands down, best HQ ever. 5 Heavy Flamers, Ability to reroll failed psychic tests, and +1 Ini and +1 WS for 24 CC attacks on the charge with STR 9 vs Vehicles or Wounds on a 2+ Witchblades.
All with invuln saves that should be rerolled due to fortune.
Yeap.
If you are talking single model, Eldrad.

Most Blood Angel HQs are fancy and expensive, but mostly completely terrible(Mephiston).
I really only know SM so I'll keep my input to that.
Vulcan-badass, great gun buffs
Khan-bikes, awesome deployment
Emperor's Champ-cheap, army wide PE
