Love this film, back when Lohan was a Hollywood darling and not the train wreck she is ATM.

Legend of the Guardians, the Owls of Ga'hoole- people always look at me weird for this. This is a standout example of how Zack Snyder can shine with stunning visuals, which have been a part of all of his films, regardless of what you think of them. I think the main problem is the somewhat misleading DVD cover:

This does not capture the feel of the film in any way IMO.

Those, are my "dirty little secret" films. Apparently.

Commando...

Even the title is cliche but I thought it was fun to watch...

True Lies...also a movie by the terminator himself...it had some decently good action parts mixed in with comedy...

'Island Of Death' was good, as was 'I Spit On Your Grave'. Although the original was soooo much better!

And to answer an earlier post, no tv shows. We could be here for weeks of you include crap like 'Dallas' and 'Eldorado'......

Hey...Dallas was great...I remember well the "Who shot JR?" conversations/debates going hot and heavy....

+1 for the original " I spit on your Grave"

That movie was my reference guide to high school...whenever I didn't get something, my friends would be like "Remember that thing in Mean Girls?"

And then i got it and life went on...

Nope, you're talking about the same movie. Remember Arnie screaming "Bennett!!!!"?

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

I got one , the remake of the pink panther. I should hate it but i cant help but watch it when i see it on tv. "I would like to buy a hamburger" still makes me laugh.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Films I like that I shouldn't?

Final Destination series. Super formulaic, but I can't help but enjoy watching the ingenious ways that generic teenagers get killed. Note, this does not extend to the Saw series, which I intensely dislike.

Piranha 3D.

Titanic. Yes, you heard me.

Forrest Gump.

Benjamin Button.

And how he meets his end is the setup for one of Arnie's greatest puntastic lines ever.

Some of Arnies best one-liners are in 'Commando'...
"Don't disturb my friend, hes dead tired"
" Remeber when I said I'd kill you last?"
*Bad guy jibbers*
"I lied"
And the aforementioned "Let off some schteem Bennet"

It doesn't get any better when you're 27. I'm heartened at how much love for Mean Girls there is in this thread.

Hmm, a lot of "hoho, I like INSERT HUGELY POPULAR CULT FILM, hoho, crazy me" posts in this thread. Not really that embarrassing to admit to.
