Just about any John Carpenter movie. They're so bad they're good!
Words fail to express the above statement. Assault on Precinct 13 (not the one with Ethan Hawke) is immense, as the the others already mentioned - and The Thing is probably my favourite movie of all time (at the moment)...
For me a lot have already been said - Split Second is quality - Rutger Hauer at his best
Dark Angel with Dolph Lundgren stands out of my VHS collection. I like the premise but it's filled with the usual cliches that you'd expect...
Why would I expect to find the film poster on photobucket, when it's obvious the search 'Dark Angel' would be filled with pathetic emo and solumn looking angels. Jessica Alba didn't turn up until page 9 & not a dark green (or black) power-armoured guy in sight...and why are all the film posters for it in any language but english? Anyway...
The tagline on my video is: 'A Totally Lethal Alien' - not just lethal but TOTALLY lethal - yeah
Spoiler:
If you've watched the Trailer you don't need to see the movie
wing commander lol the kilrathi scenes are sooo bad. The only thing that save that movie is Matt Lillard.

When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Yeah i think its the supporting actors that just about save it, jurgen prochnow, david suchet, david warner and tcheky karyo don't disgrace themselves too much, i'm a sucker for space battles anyway so i forgave it freddie prinze.

I honestly didn't think it was as bad as people said it was. IT had some cool effects and there were a lot of parts that were entertaining. That being said, it had no real substance either and the dialogue was really weak at some points.
Hopefully they will do better with the sequel.

It was a little bit far fetched too. I wouldve rathered other super villians rather than the devil and his lackies.
I dont think they going to have a sequel though, seeing as it wasnt a very popular movie

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Speaking of cliches and stereotypes...its cheesy, and the acting is just plain hilarious with how serious the actors are trying to be despite the fact that its so bad...

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

If I'm not mistaken, Heinlein was a fascist, and if you take the film Starship Troopers as a parody of the book as I understand it (I admit I haven't read it *ducks thrown objects*), it's actually hilarious and well-done. But I should read the book before I make that judgement call.
EDIT: glancing through his Wikipedia bio, I seem to be mistaken, though he did apparently intend for the bugs in Starship Troopers to represent Communism, and that Communism is something humans cannot adhere to because they're so individualistic. Dunno where I got the "fascist" thing from.

Yeah, IIRC the book was quite serious, but from what I understand the movie bears only a superficial resemblance to the book. The movie, 100%, strikes me as a parody of militaristic, jingoistic fascism.

And the point being i still liked it, mainly due to the bloody FX....and the NPH

I agree with "Ineptus Astartes", Ultramarines the movie FTW!!! I loved every second, I'm not a fan of the chapter, but who cares, if codex pictures made the hands red (Crimson fists) there would STILL be whining about people wondering why CODEX didn't make them Ultramairnes (No one is ever pleased!)
If you watch this movie, have the cranial and ocular scrubbing stations loaded and ready! You will not survive the Battle Stags, Surveillance Doe's, or Bronco.
