What would really suck, is if you died a pretty crappy, useless death, e.g. sat on by a slann, and then you were turned into a zombie, which died an eerilly similiar death.

If you had regen and got eaten also quite a gakky deal.
You keep regening as they digest you.

If we are talking about the most violent and brutal way to die, I'd say getting caught by a pack of minotaurs.
