Um....no. Just plain no. Blendernauts have a decent chance of killing 3 fexes. That is why frag spines+adrenal glands are importent. On the charge, these 3 beasties will hit with 5 Str 10, int 4 MC attacks each, and have frag grendes.

Where is this from? It looks badass.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Vol II. Edward Hyde fighting Martian tripods, and for once managing not to say anything racist.
Sucky movie, amazing comic. #AlanMoore

Be fair, that blender is going to be in a Stormraven.
Those Carnifexes won't be getting I4, because they won't be getting the charge. Couple it with supporting fire from the Stormraven, and you have one very dead 500pt unit of Carnifexes.
Trygons won't even get the charge with fleet, because the Stormraven needs to be taken out of the picture first, so at best it's going to be striking simultanetously.

Honestly it doesn't matter what can kill a blender dread and what the blender dread can kill. That isn't the real issue. The real issue with it is that the rule just shouldn't exist in the first place. Nothing in a game where the two sides are based on limited points should be able to generate unlimited attacks. It doesn't matter if its remotely possible or requires a specific set of circumstances. The fact that it IS possible, breaks the game.
The concept just should not exist. That is why its such a piss poor rule. Just like Mephy shouldn't exist as he is. MC stats on a small base just sets a president for things to come that shouldn't exist.

Decent chance?? You might want to do some math on that. If the blenderdread has a "decent" chance of taking out three carnifexes, then hiveguard are a "sure thing" in killing it from the front, so no worries. In other news, carnifexes suck this edition so you nid-players would by trygons
because the Stormraven needs to be taken out of the picture first

A blood talon furioso has an negligible chance of doing this in one round, even killing a single carnifex isn't likely to happen on average with strictly average dice rolling and only 3 attacks.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |
