Also, having a more difficult to use army makes us better players.

As I said, our current 'dex works, it'd just be nice to get some new stuff. My main beef is with the general "Marines deserve to wait because!" attitude, which you do not display. Nice to have a civilized conversation on the Internet for once.
The codex 6th proper is a very good point, I had considered it, but impatience has a way of getting the best of me at times. Waiting would be better in all honesty, but, but, but... New Shiny GOODIES! Ah, well, as you have made me realize, waiting would be better...
Hmm... Civility.
I must be doing the internet wrong.

GW does not have IoM bias. It only seems that way now, because at the start of 5th edition, all Imperial books were either old or seriously underpowered, with exception of the Space Marine codex, and even that was not a top codex power-wise.
As for Tau, they were amongst 40k's best selling armies during 4th Edition, and they have been prominently featured in recent codex fluff, so there is absolutely no chance that they will be squatted. Automatically Appended Next Post: AlmightyWalrus wrote:

Hmmm....Tyranid codex (proper 5th ed) vs Ork codex (made for 5th in 4th). I know which I prefer

Nah, they won't be squatted at all. They're probably next on the list to be updated, I'm -very- curious and excited to see new Tau stuff

Better than what? If you're trying to claim that Xeno players are better than SM players just by virtue of playing Xenoes, I'd kindly suggest that you stop being silly.

He meant that having an underpowered codex makes it more difficult to win, therefore makes you need better tactics to win and thus makes you a better general.
He was NOT saying that just coz they play xenos they are better than SM players. (That's CSM )

Better than we otherwise would be, i.e. compared to ourselves. Having to make use of hard to use units teaches you tactics. Armoured Spearhead is a lot more straightforward than The Patient Hunter.
