At 650, yes. I would absolutely run purifiers on foot.

Very few codex have the luxury of transports under 1000pts. And GK are no exception.

De will murder him if he goes foot purifyers, he will most certainly face the usual lameass DE boat spam with 3 blaster true born in venoms or minmaxed blaster troops in venoms with maybe the odd wych boat in the mix.

A good anti-everything but in particular anti DE GK army of 650p would looks something like:


Inquisitor - hellrifle

5 strike GKs - 1 psycanon
5 strike GKs - 1 psyannon

Psy rifle Dread
Psy rifle Dread

About 530p as core.
120p more of things that can be added or swapped.
-The inq can be changed for a libby giving the dreads 3+ cover.
-More strike GKs can be added.
-Inq can be cheapened and a third dread can be thrown in.

Winning against the usual drop dead boring DE armies I see everywhere is to outshoot them at range using covered or possibly shrouded psy dreads and forcing them to get in melee or within blaster range and here is where all the stormbolters and psycannon await. Deepstriking can also be a nice thing but if you dont take those dreads you w i l l loose.

Really? Because I've played at several 1000pt tournaments and 100% of the lists throughout all of them say you are wrong.

He an Inquisitor that lets me take Henchman as troops (scoring) also got a nice little move that lets me shoot out of sequence if someone deep strikes within 12", plus can re-roll to seize or force you to

So what's the deal with Henchmen? Why would you want them when you can have big chunky power armoured uber humans instead?

They cheap way of adding firepower or cc punch to my Grey Knights. Take Vect by all means his Jabba barge won't last that long against what i got coming
