Highlights were his Kroot outflanking in front of a Hammerhead which proceeded to tank shock them the next turn. They didn't regroup. Also 2 of my Crisis Suits pummeling the enemy hammerhead to death in CC after cover-hopping across the table.

Mirror lists is almost always boring, for 90% of armies. An infantry heavy vs. Suit Heavy list would be interesting, same with a vehicle heavy vs. either infantry or suit heavy list.

That would be interesting. Take the same army and make 2 completely different lists.

Pro painted GK vs pro painted DE would look the best, and the match up wouldn't be terrible

Best look would be pro painted BA versus pro DE I think, or maybe Eldar vs DE Pro painted.

Lots of people want to see IG vs Tau.

As an IG player who has played Tau a few times since two of my close friends each have a Tau Army, I have to say it's nothing special.

The Tau get tabled pretty quickly. Tau have weapons with a big punch but they just can't deal with the numbers.

I've never seen Sisters of Battle or Dark Eldar so that would be cool to see.

That would be a good match. Sisters vs. DE. Also, (and i don't want this to distract from the topic) I have to disagree with that the Tau don't have the means to deal with numbers. Now i'm not an expert on 40k but I play a Tau army and the Tau have the means to fight a horde army with the right list. Rail guns have the sub munition rounds that uses a large blast marker, That would be devastating to Imperial Guard. Tau also have flamers and missile pods for their battle suits. Wouldn't these things handle pretty well in a Tau vs. Imperial Guard?

Flamers = Close Up = Dead Tau.

Missile Pods = OK...

Railguns = BINGO!

Imperial Guard (Catachans) vs Dark Eldar would be fun to watch, especially if it was an artillery heavy IG list

always wanted to bring a big Iyandon list against a big nids list, something like 15 - 20,000 points a side so could really do it up right. true masses of wraithguard and wraithlords with a couple of titans and all the trimmings against the hordes of bugs.

Orks vs IG, 5,000 points a side, no vehicles allowed. The true meaning of hordes will be learned

Its the most boring battle ever, I've played it and me and my opponent were both bored and we could both predict each other moves. When I was back in Richmond we had lots of sisters of battle players and they all said the same thing for sisters verse sisters, it is a boring battle that they will refuse to play.

Flamers are close range which means the Tau Die. Missile mods are just ok. The Railguns with sub-munition would be helpful except they are focused w/ Solid shot) on the Leman Russ the whole time.



Mechanized IG vs Footy IG would be interesting.

A horde of Space Wolves vs an equal horde of Black Legion would be great. A classic ice board with hundreds of marines and dozens of tanks swarming it

I would like to see apoc tau vs. apoc space marines.

specifically, the point where FW assault failed and a massive battlesuit assault was launched against the space marine lines.

Or even better, The war of Dakka. Shooty orks vs. horde tau (stealth cloud/kroot blob). Orks would obviously win since horde tau is terrible and shooty orks are scary but...
