Authorities said Page enlisted in April 1992 and was discharged from the Army in 1998 "under honorable conditions," which is less than honorable discharge. While not as negative as a dishonorable discharge, such a release would preclude one from reenlisting or entering another military service, sources explained to Fox News. Reuters reported that the discharge was for "patterns of misconduct," including being drunk on duty.

I think you read that wrong.
Bromsy was saying Sikhs are known for being bad ass. He just used a double negative:
Sikhs are not exactly known for not being bad ass, generally speaking= Sikhs are exactly known for being bad ass, generally speaking

I'm sorry what extremists are you referring to?
The ones that always exist. The ones that are always there when you don't hear about them. The ones who like the same stuff as the rest of us. The ones who exist as part of every party and religious belief. They are always there, we just don't always hear about them.
I'm still going to blame fox news though. Mostly because if some mental left wing guy did something similar they would be blaming... I don't know... video games? Not movies or television, just video games. Yea, sounds about right.

Define extremist.
So by your call I can blame the left and MSM for the unabomber, the Earth First eco terrorists, the Arizona shooter, the Weathermen (in case you don't know them look up Obama's protege Bill Ayers), and maybe the Aurora shooter (he was from California after all)?
Thats nuts.

I don't think FoxNews creates extremists, but right-wing extremists do like watching it.
They also like to harass everybody they can on Facebook with never ending "WAKE UP SHEEPLE!" posts though....

I hate the following terms when used in political discourse: 1) "sheeple" ; 2) "bigot"; 3) "racist"; 4) "homophobe"; 5) "fascist"; 6) "communist" (Commie pinko has a certain penache to it though); 7) "No Mr. Frazzled this ticket does not say you won the Lotto. Now please go away."
As an aside Dale and Tucker vs. Evil is one of the most hilarious movies the Wife and I have watched in a long long time.

Man, this blows. I have a lot of time for Sikhs. They can be justifiably proud of their history in Britain. Given their honourable service as part of the BEF and in WWII (and their close links with the British armed forces generally), they weren't perhaps greeted with the welcome they deserved when they started to arrive in the UK in large numbers in the 50s and 60s, but they conducted (and continue to conduct) themselves with great bravery and grace, often in the face of incomprehension and misunderstanding by certain sectors of the British public. I'm glad that there is a thriving Sikh community in my country that is very much an active part of British society. I feel that other diaspora cultures could learn a lot from their openness, warmth and hospitality. Plus, look at this guy!:
That's Sikh WWII fighter pilot Mohinder Singh Pujji. He volunteered, along with a fair number of Sikhs, to join the RAF and defend Britain from the Luftwaffe. He was shot down over the channel, but got back into the sky to carry on the fight just a week later. Total rock star.
I remember being taken to a Gurdwara as part of a mela in my hometown when I was a kid - I've always remembered the warm friendly welcome we got, not to mention the truly awesome food. In fact, that may have been my first taste of indian cuisine, the start of a love-affair that continues to this day! If you're ever passing a Gurdwara, pop in and say hello - they'll probably give you a really nice meal and show you round if you're polite. That's right, isn't it bsohi? It's tradition or something?
