This type of behaviour is entirely normal for this particular sub-species of humanity. There was footage on telly tonight of some guy in Centrelink (Australian welfare office) losing his cool and throwing chairs at people.

Since I got married I've started watching the regular telly news again (because the wife wants to see the weather) and so I sit there and watch all the daily anecdotes of scum doing stupid gak. Then half the time dinner doesn't end up getting served up until about half way through ACA or Today Tonight so that stays on and so we watch all those stupid not-stories about welfare dodgers and the like.

I tell you, even though I know all those shows are just stupid and dishonest and way out of context, my opinion of humanity is dropping.

Absolutely. And for a while there I managed to stop seeing all the stuff that dwells in how petty and stupid we can be, and see more of the stuff about how awesome we are. And I was happy and positive.

And now, even though I know the world is the same, because I'm seeing the petty, stupid stuff more, I find myself hating humanity again.
