Well you must be over an inch away after the scatter. If you scatter to be within an inch you mishap.

No scatter with Horus in command. I think that is quite painful

maybe we could have a proper discussion on the matter if you said why you thought they were OP as opposed to complaining when people tell you how easy it is to kill them

I have said many times earlier in the comments... Not really feeling saying them again but: Horus has really good resilience/armour one of the best
He also has a pin point deep strike
He can make a massive unit of terminators outflank, come in on any turn anywhere.
In CC he's pretty much unsurpassed, read his rules, they are epic
He can make terminators and veterans troops
And can casually call down a massively destructive bombardment whenever. I think he does all this for a modest and under costed 500 points and that he could potentially take the fun out of some games he is played in. For me at least.

I am appreciative that the primarchs have been made and they are really good I just think Horus could do with some tweaking

Exactly. I honestly don't see Plasmaguns having much more trouble with a Primarch than a squad of 10 TH/SS Termies.

considering this is a game setting where you will have super heavies running around and masses of troops all ready to shoot the crap out of horus and his unit I really cannot see how he could ever be considered OP

and how is watching a single unit wade his way through a load of troops anything but fun unless you're hell bent on winning? it's like apocalypse, you're gonna be taking handfuls of toys off the table anyway so you may as well enjoy the spectacle of it

the deep strike thing is a waste as I’d love to see him DS anywhere near my army then get shot to hell and back before he can do anything.
Vets and termies as troops is nothing big at all as no matter what armour you have on, a plasma gun to the face will ruin your day any time and if you’re stupid enough to outflank right next to me in range of rapid fire

The bombardment……meh, like I said it’ll just add to the “handful of toys off the table” thing…..that’s if he isn’t dead before he uses it (I assume he can’t move and fire it)

All for 500pts which is a huge chunk of your army (even more so if he has his termy buddies surrounding him) which could be spent on something less likely to die as soon as he hits the table? No thanks

It's not an opinion so much as it is a misunderstanding of the Primarch capabilities.

You made a thread with the purpose of finding out other people's thoughts on the relative power of the Primarchs. Most, if not all, of the responses have been disagreeing with you. Some even go as far as giving reasoning why, backed up with examples. You are free to disagree, just as the other participants in the discussion are free to disagree with you.

It's not about the maths it's about how people interpret how useful rules could play and devise stratageys of how to use them effectively it is a matter of opinion not fact so please don't make the decision for me.

I don't understand why people are getting so cross with me. All I have done is made a thread it is supposed to be enjoyable to discuss. I havnt been rude or dismissive of anybodys comments and have just put my opinions across. All I wanted to do was discuss a topic I am interested in and it seems to have turned into one big dig at me.
