Are you kidding? He was already a very powerful Seer who straight up told Fulgrim "Yo, your screwin' up. Stop it." And then Fulgrim killed an Avatar.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Shred City.

All good suggestions here, but I fear too many A-listers.

I'd prefer if the A-list celebs were kept to an absolute minimum and the primarchs were played by mostly unknowns or low profile actors.

I'm struggling to think of who has the panache and seriousness to play the glorious Emperor. He could definitely be an A-lister.

Thanks for clarifying that, I wasn't sure how directly he was involved, just that he was around.

No man can pretend being a Primarch.
None would wield such charisma.
No mortal man would look equally perfect as them.
And not a single person is that tall and heavy build to represent the might of the Primarch.

Our only and best way would be the CGI - and even then the level of demand would be big.

...At least don't let the next possible 40K movie be made by those who made the Ultramarines. Give 'em at least a decent budget!

Sure the CGI is the way to go, but if there were live action cast, I would like to see following:

Vulkan - Jason Statham

Statham is white. No go. Samuel L. Jackson.

Since Vulkan is not negroid I don't see how Jackson would be better choice.

With proper make up and red eye contacts/CGI magic Statham would fit the role. He already has proper hairstyle.

When the character is black, the actor should also be black. Sure, Jackson isn't the colour of coal with red eyes, but non-40k fans would instantly realise Vulkan is supposed to be black, not question why Statham looks like that.

Like I said before, the character in question is not black. So why do you keep forcing black actor for the role?

Because Salamanders and Vulkan are black. Not negro black as we see present day but having a black actor makes sense.

Maybe. I think Freddie Mercury would be better at the absurd amount of showmanship needed to play Fulgrim properly. But David Bowie is still alive so I guess he is the better choice.

I see you don't understand what term negroid means.

Well unfortunately he is no longer with us, but Vulcan would obviously have been played by Michael Clark Duncan.

You wouldn't even have to use camera tricks to make him the right size lol.

No I didn't but after Googling, I think I understand it as a term to describe skeletal variations associated with those of African ancestry? Correct me if in error there. But on that basis, you are trying to discount Jackson on basis that he doesn't have the right skeletal structure to be a Primarch? Technically speaking none of these men do.

Sean Bean as Sanguinius... right hair, charisma, often plays a leader of some sort, a badass, rough but good looking man, and to top it all he dies in everything he's ever played in barring the Sharpe series... and that's only because Bernard Cornwell would never kill off Sharpe!

Brian Blessed is the man, but I can only see him as Leman Russ for some reason. Probably cause Leman Russ is already less grimdark (and more manly) than the rest of 'em.
