I believe there was some official character pics released recently, once of which was Ashoka(clearly all grown up)
I'm fairly certain that Ashoka will make an appearance, and possibly be a tertiary recurring character.

At least as long as 'grown-up' Ashoka doesn't look like that one from the future-vision from the terrible episode with the force 'gods'. Eugh, hated that one.

Why wouldn't she? That's what togruta look like as adults (with regards to the pointier head-things), and that's what her coloration looks like, so that's what she'll look like as an adult.

Not so much the design, as the model. Just something distinctly off-putting about the structure of it. (Although I'll admit, looking at some screen-caps now, it's not as bad as I remember.)
Possibly it was just the upshot of a model they didn't put alot of effort into since it would only be used in one episode.
