Still, I'm worried about the Iron Man/Atom comparisons. "Super rich super genius builds a robo-suit to fight crime" just comes across as too much of a copy (I know The Atom isn't a copy of Stark or vice versa, and that in the comics Atom's powers are very different).
I suspect Atom will be spending some time on The Flash prior to the decision on whether they go ahead with the new spinoff, since they can give him his more whacky powers there without upsetting Arrow's "The OC with leather costumes" vibe, and so far neither show has missed a chance to wallow in a "love triangle"(it's pretty obvious at this point that Felicity will be going with Palmer, so they can have Palmer being jealous of Barry & Felicity's easy friendship at the same time as they have the whole Barry/Iris/Thawne thing going).

At least his costume doesn't look like Marvel's Whedon's third-rate Deathlok cosplay effort.
You think the Iron Man suits look like cosplay?
Ok...
I assume he meant Deathlok
Yea, so did I. Guess I'll just have to edit it here for clarity.

Oh, right, yeah. Deathlok does look a bit low rent. But then again pretty much everything in the first season of AoS was low rent.

Honestly it wasn't so much the "cardboard cosplayer" vibe to Deathlok's appearance that got me about him, it was the way they put new attachments on him which supposedly burrow into his flesh over his sodding clothes. I mean ffs, rolling up your sleeve first isn't going to have a huge impact on the episode's budget.

Well, from my understanding the "suit" is something that is cooked up quickly to allow Firestorm to control his powers a bit better.
We'll find out either way this coming Tuesday.
