I think the DCEU has made an attempt to get more distinctive themes for each hero. The Man of Steel theme is very distinctive; it's just not bombastic. The John Williams theme is a classic, but it's from a movie almost 40 years old and there's no reason it has to be *the* Superman theme in perpetuity. It also wouldn't have fit Man of Steel.
IMO, the Marvel themes are almost completely homogenized and ultimately forgettable...but then I think that's probably intentional. They're not as interested in having individual heroes and films truly stand out. Making sure that they fit into the existing structure is more important. You can also see this in how similarly the films are shot. (Dr. Strange could break this trend, but we'll see.)
