Then they'd have to swerve to shoot their flamers and not lose control. The flamers are mounted on the handle bars of the bike (if they're done like SM bikes). If the sister is shooting the flamer by hand then it works like you said.

You see, it is stuff like this that just pisses me off. GW keep hinting and teasing at releasing platic sisters but they never do. They showed some apparent "sprues" last year, a few years ago they did something else, now we have this "doomsday clock" but ultimately it always amounts to nothing.
It feels like GW are trying to be some edgy children, giggling and showing something that everyone wants before going 'nope, you cant have it' then showing it again before going 'uh-uh-uh' and so on. They seem to enjoy tormenting the SoB fans for some reason. I am honestly tired of this constant childish 'we might do this ting you want but no heres more other thing instead' garbage they keep on pulling. They should either release plastic Sisters or just squat the entire faction instead, anything but keeping us in this state of permanent suspense.

Alternately, SoB player should accept that GW isn't ever going to convert the SoB line to plastic. Nor will they put them out of their misery. They'll be a cool little Appendix army that a few people play, and that's it.

I think with the tease in the Necromunda squat teaser video they basically confirmed Sisters are coming in the "near" (my guess being max. one year out at most, at least for some announcement) future. In the past they basically completely blocked any questions related to a plastic sister release outside of Celestine (answers usually having been "we have no plans for it" or "when it's done") and it would have been easy enough to keep that going, rather than basically including a "soon" hint like they did. They could easily have set that clock to the sort of time showing on the plastic Thunderhawk clock, yet they didn't.
They wouldn't do that if they weren't planning a release, if nothing comes out of it they will seriously piss off the fan- and playerbase and create negative blog press and controversy ("GW pretends to but never listens to us, it's downright malicious") by hinting at a close release; while if their intention was to take a friendly jab at us without creating any false hope then they could have just set the clock to 8:25pm. Keep in mind that the pipeline for new kits is 2-3 years before they are released, so if plastic SoB are coming in 1 or even 2 years then the go-ahead would have already been given.

I saw it as a joke first and foremost, which is why "plastic Thunderhawk" was up there as well... Quite frankly, plastic Thunderhawk would be much better product from a sales standpoint, and everybody should already know that.
If GW had comparable confirmed, committed demand for plastic Sisters, I'm sure they'd do it. Lowering the bar, the projected demand for plastic Sisters simply has to be better than stuff like Battlefleet Heresy, Blood Bowl mk.2, Necromunda mk.2+, Mordheim mk.2, etc., Fury Dracula mk.2, etc.
So yeah, when hell freezes over.

Considering they released niche kits such as Sisters of Silence I doubt that they consider SoB unprofitable, especially when they can just release a few plastic characters and one or two multi kit troop sets (e.g a Battle Sisters/Celestians/Retributor kit and e.g. a Repentia/Seraphim kit) and leave more the more specialized models (e.g. penitent engines) as they are. It's not like SoB have a massive roster to begin with and a plastic kit for immolators is already on the market.
Remember that the planning and production of new kits usually take around two years and Rountree has only been in office since early 2015. Heck, we even got an Adeptus Custodes army release, Necromunda and a Squat character since then. If anyone had suggested these things here three years ago then he would have been laughed out of basically any thread.

You can't confirm demand by asking the community or looking online. There's an extremely vocal minority of diehard SoB fans that would skew any such data.

I was under the impression they did reasonably well. I would have ordered some myself but as I play in a local GW it would have been wasted money
