As long as you can ignore where the big turbine sits.

I always loved the Vulture, meant to buy one and outfit it with the 4 x MRP loadout just because it looked so cool, and dropping four 5" blast markers used to be pretty decent against low-toughness hordes.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I have the smaller squiggoth, but only because I could not justify the cost of the big boy. He is such an awesome model (I wrote "mini" first and then had to delete it because there is nothing mini about him).
I also really like the Chaos Dwarves, and the Fimir models they released. I wish they did more Fantasy stuff, because all their fantasy minis were awesome.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Forge World Leman Russ variants, and alternate turrets/main guns for the Vanquisher.

I'm in a similar position, except I'd go with the twin Punisher Cannon loadout, myself.

For me, it's always been the Exalted Greater Daemon of Nurgle .

I'm completely enamoured by that sculpt. I painted mine maybe two weeks prior to the new plastic Great Unclean One releasing and I regret nothing. It's got that classic, less cartoonish vibe for Nurgle that's just disgusting and evokes so much more emotion. He's hideous, he's obese, but he feels so much more menacing and threatening. I love him.

Honourable mention to Cor'Bax Utterblight. Absolutely incredible, and hits a lot of the same notes with a wildly different approach.

As for vehicles:

Legion Fire Raptor - after the obligatory Spartan Assault Tank, the first ForgeWorld vehicle I bought for my Legion. Worth the cost, worth the frustrating build and time consuming painting. Worth the annoyance of putting him on the table and watching the magnetised guns spin off and removable hatches fall off at the slightest table wobble. I just love this flyer, and along with the Xiphon it's one of the few Space Marine flyers that capture the vibe of the Thunderhawk without just being a stubby little flying brick.

Legion Falchion To this day, I still sort of wish I'd bought a Falchion instead of a Fellblade way back when. Twin Volcano Cannons is peak dakka in my book, and the whole tank just looks like such a unit. I'd like to think I'll get around to one for my Iron Warriors someday.

The venerable Chaos Warhound Titan. Again, one I don't actually own. I do own an Imperial one of these, for the sheer fact that I knew I was never going to get another Warhound Titan - and if I had one, I'd want the more iconic Imperial flavour. But I've got a real soft spot for the Chaos Warhound. The interior with the princeps fleshmetal melding into the Titan itself is a masterwork of grimdark and the Chaos trim that adorns the outside is so vivid and textured and just looks beautiful to me.

I love all the chapter specific dreadnoughts. Pretty sure the contemptor range is done.

I am hoping they release all the chapter specific ones for the deredeo range and leviathan range.

The kill krusha tank. It's a propper orky tank, had hilarious rules (gretchin shooting the wrong shell) and you could see the gretchin loading the gun on the model.

Sadly, it can no longer be used in matched play and I think it's no longer available.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks do not think that purple makes them harder to see. They do think that camouflage does however, without knowing why.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I don't think there are any GK FW models, as everything I have ever seen from FW marines has the part that GK can't take it, but there is one model I really like. It is a space marine model, of I think some sort of hero, he is in yellow armour, so either an imperial fist or a lamenter, he has a power fist and a stormshield. The model looks very nice to me.

This isn't entirely correct, there are a few GK options in the FW index.

My personal favorite is the Deredeo pattern dread, the thing just screams more dakka without looking over designed or out of place with the older marine line.

That one is indeed awesome!

There are a lot of FW models I love. Many of those already mentioned but I've not seen the Malanthrope and DKOK Death Riders being mentioned. Other ones I love:

- Brass scorpion
- Malcador Infernus
- Armageddon Basilisk
- Zhadsnark
And best of all: the Marauder Destroyer!

Yeah, I am somewhat pissed they're out of production or whatever happens with them, I want a second squad and they were the first models I bought, seeing them go is sad.

I don't understand, DKK are very popular, why isn't FW selling one of their more iconic unit anymore ? It makes no sense...

DKK were popular for a time, but the FW Horus Heresy range quite likely blew them out of the water by an order of magnitude. Besides, FW has been ratcheting down their 40k range over several years now. In the end, I expect only superheavies will remain.

It also didn't help that you needed a ton of DKoK minis for an army relative to an SM HH army, and the actual faction specific rules for the DKoK have seemingly intentionally been garbage (being themed around attritional WW1 warfare consistently being significantly more expensive and less capable at it than the basic codex) in every edition

I loved the Elysians. I always wanted to get a sick drop troop army to fight against my orks so I could fight all the scenarios from the Raid on Kastorel-Novem book. But alas of course after I grow up and have enough disposable income they disappear. Its a damn shame they got the axe. They had a pretty sick elite paratroop vibe going, and I loved all the engagements they were featured in in the imperial armor books. RIP Elysians.

PS if anyone knows of where to get some decent Elysian recasts, Id be thankful! Plenty of DKoK and Renegades out there but I cant seem to find any Elysians.
