Weapon options can be kitbashed, so it's not out of need I want new sculpts for them, more just to have some different crown and cape sculpts. Even if the Obelisk was not trash I don't think you should need to build three Obelisks just to have three Transcendent C'tan and using only GW miniatures you have relatively few replacement options.

Did Kutlakh and Toholk have models at all?

Nope, a lot of FW characters don't. That's a good thing to me at least as it's up to you how they might look.

It’s either in Legends or in one of the Chaos FW books

I loved those tanks, they were so pretty. Guess I'm gonna have to re-think how my templars are going to get around the battlefield, I wanted to do a Landraider Spearhead kinda thing.

Just modify something you already have, or ask your opponents before the game if you can use some other models as stand-ins

Renegades and Heretics: look at BSF, they have plenty of available models suitable for the look.

I’ll have to look at the vets thing, but no elysian models or conversions are officially made anymore save the Skytalon. And as for R&H, yes they have the look but they were made with their own datasheets so they don’t qualify as renegades.

In 8th the only difference is the Range, Conqueror is 48" vs 72". Going back in additions the rules varied but in general it traded shorter range for enhanced mobility, starting with it being a Heavy weapon versus an Ordinance weapon back in the days when vehicles had to be stationary to fire ordinance. As a heavy weapon it also suffered in armor penetration, as ordinance got to roll 2 dice keeping the highest. When templates were used it also used the smaller 3in template. I could be a bit off on the 8th ed rules as I haven't been playing 8th

For Age of Sigmar, Forsaken don't have rules so shouldn't be on the list.

For 40k, shouldn't there be a difference between Legends and Not Legends? As Legends is GW's answer to this thread, it's specifically rules for datasheets without models.
