What's up buddy. I am so far behind on personal e-mail is just not funny, I have like 2,500 or so that I'm not even opened yet. Needless to say i haven't forgot you man! Your right about the under bite on the jaw, but I planned to built jaw up after the teeth set.

I'll probably go with the idea similar to what you suggested of having some wrinkled, stretched skin around the gun barrel.

Nope, there feet. About half way between a Ballerina's shoe and a spiders foot. The mounds between the legs are camel toe however!

Thanks. I have more units on the way including some converted fiends. The models just kind of grew on me... They get larger claws; and I'll reduce the breasts from 5 incomplete sets to 3 full sets. With augmentation ofcourse. Six being our sacred number and all. They'll pull herald chariots chariots, since I've already got converted units for the most useful units in the codex.

I don't no about the tongue in the barrel idea but some kind of wrinkly, stretched orifice seems appropriate to the task.

You should look as the original concept the barrel looked a little too much like a "fun box" and everyone took is as such. Hopefully I can pull off a more elegant solution.

She's got connections in her lower back to attach her to the seat. but I need to figure out what they connect to. How about a pipe organ/exhaust system. Say something similar to a "Doom-Siren"?

Okay small update...



IT'S DONE!

The Body detailing on DP# 1 is done, and ready for casting. Here's the final head...unless you guys spot some glaring anatomical errors. Still needs minor tweaks, to the lips and nose but otherwise I 'm calling it done. I started boxing the model up to for molding as well. Pics to follow...

lol, i was on D of E, then went to my grandparents 4 the week. i was just thinkin, for the solgrinder head, why don't you tattoo it? sound kinda weird but not just paint the tattoos, model em out of greenstuff and stick em on. Can we se a picture of the soulgrinder on throne with legs ect attatched?

also, just as a side not, after youve fiished this project, try doing a slaanesh soul grinder titan. itd be cool, just imagine warhound legs ad kos body.

DP looks finished to me. Hair is awesome and face looks totally real.
One question: Is she supposed to be hot or no?
Because I think she looks like an ugly girl. Big cheek bones, thin lips and a big nose. Given they aren't really sculpting issues but I got the since this was a slaaneshi army so I image the princess as like, a sexual icon type firgure. However, having the Princess be ugly and still getting here way with whoever she wants could play into the fluff just as strongly.

Maybe just a throne. A straight up eldar royalty type deal. I'd imagine ,since it's eldar, it would have something to do with warp energy, so it could even play into her possession by slaanesh. Sort of like a farseer version of cerebro.

Sounds more like that scarification or branding or something like that I saw once on Taboo. People pretty much grow false bone below their skin to make... interesting designs, like this one guy who did horns underneath his skin. Kinda kreepy, but it does go with the whole "giving yourself over to excess and do whatever the warp you wanna do" routine that Slaanesh bathes in.

Bah....a few more revisions to the face:


I thinned down the nose, reduced the jaw, and plumped up the lips.











I want to make her a bit cuter. So I'll probably reduce the high check bones. Also I want fill the hollows of the cheeks, foe a more rounded look. The goal being to make her less masculine looking.



Anyway, I need some input from you guys cause I've been looking at this so long I starting to go blind to the flaws.

Definetely getting there, cuter: more pointed jawline, smaller nose, reduced brow ridge, otherwise not a whole lot you can do before paint at this size

I dunno, I think the head has a great deal of personality as is - not really what you would expect, but chaos should be unexpected.

a long gene simons style tongue would work well out of the head!!

I've started setting the parts up for molding:














I do need correct the lean on the body; but other than that I sectioned her up in the most efficient way. That is the way that with use the least silicon rubber.

Sersi, I've been lurking on this thread for a long time now, and, like everyone else, I love your stuff. The head you're working on now is looking better and better. If you are looking for advice on how to make her look "cuter" I would say to look from the profile and think about reducing or pushing back the lower jaw. I think someone else mentioned her underbite. Most folk's lower jaw sits further back on the profile than their upper jaw. Most people have at least a small underbite. Think about how her mouth would fit if it were closed. I think this might go a long way towards feminizing her look. In any case, I can't wait to see more.

Out of interest have you sent the Keeper of secrets of to Troll Forge. Because theres a giant daemon thingy which looks a lot like him over their. For the corrupted eldar thing how about a Shuriken cannon looking weapon or possibly a Warp Spider Gun/D Cannon style thing. it could also be her own Singing Spear that she was impaled on.......

Thanks for the input guys I have made some changes:

- re-sculpted the chin and jaw.
- reduce the nose and gave it a slight upward turn
- filled out the hollows of the cheeks.
- rounded out the furrows on the brow.



The sum of the above changes resulting is this thing here...enjoy!

The lower lip still bothers me; as do the corners of the mouth at present. Well anyway back to work.

looking good and the spidery leg throne really gave off a slannesh feel

Her ear is low, upper lip is too long, and needs some more *plush* to it, she still has a fairly masculine chin, really shave tat sucker down...

you NEED to attatch her onto her own throne by being impailed by her own singing spear, it would be so awesome!
