No battle reports I'm afraid, I never remember to take enough pictures to consider writing one and I don't log what happens during the game either! Might be worth trying some day.

Here is a street level picture of my last Kill Team game.

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

The game was another 2 vs. 1 of 125pts Black Legion and 125pts Night Lords vs. 250pts Novokh Dynasty. The mission was the Elites Rampage mission with the Chaos Space Marines doing the rampaging. The game ended turn 4-5 after the Necrons forced both CSM teams to make break tests with each failing. I rolled box cars on my Break Test and not even the Black Legion trait was going to keep my Leader fighting. I guess he was happy enough with the Lychguard Combat Specialist's head after he plasma-ed it.

I can say that those Lychguard are right tough, but I am glad I have a couple of Khorne Berserker count-as models with power/chain axes and plasma pistols to at least give me a fighting chance to kill them. Using a couple of Berserkers made the team feel a lot more like actual Chaos Space Marines. I think I would have done better if I didn't try a flanking move with my heavy hitters who got caught in a bad spot as the necrons kept winning Initiative and pinned prevented the trio from gang violencing their way through the Necron team. I had to peel my Aspiring Champion off due to lack of space to engage a Lychguard with more than 2 models. The Plasmagun sniper did pretty good melting a few warriors, but it wasn't nearly enough. I also lost my chain axe Berserker after double 1s supercharging his plasma pistol. Which wasn't too surprising I was rolling a lot of ones (like 6 among 1 gun and 3 pistols) with plasma shots that game. Probably not as worth it against Necrons, but I can't see my CSM doing it any other way.

I played some Aquanautica Imperialis, orks vs. Pirate Synidcate. The orks and their fleet were trying to get across the "Shallows" the huge lagoon that separates the islands of the Def Island chain. They were met by the shallower draft forces of the Pirate Syndicate who were contractually allied with the Imperial forces.

Carnage ensued....

Orcs vs Undead in a game of Kings of War in 15mm scale (using CM instead of Inches).

The game was 1500 points and it was the Relic capture senario.

I was using Orcs and I was defeated, 3 relics to 0 in the end :(.

nice pic! we want to do KoW in 15mm instead of 28mm. one question -- how do you figure out the base sizes so they are fair in accordance withe the rules?
I'd really appreciate help with this. Thanks.

My friend’s first 40k game - he wanted to get most of his army painted before we played. We tied! We sort of used whatever he had ready so I think it was PL 90 each side with the 4 objective mission.

Friend of friend of friend happened to come by my place and made a comment about always wanting to start painting Warhammer models and I showed him how to paint a few simple reaper bones minis the second time we hung out. He jumped right in and just started painted about 3 months back. We had our first official game on Saturday against some of my unfinished retro bugs. He’s went from gluing and painting his first space marine model to this small Night Lords force in the three months - https://imgur.com/gallery/xP3FNlF - He actually just picked up an airbrush after I showed him how easy base coating a Rhino was with one instead of drybrushing/layering a Rhino.

I built a bunch of terrain for Flames of War, pics are from the first game we played with it. Buildings are laser-cut kits, woods and hedgerows scratch built from clump flocking, plastic tree armatures, and other stuff. Roads are painted felt.

Necrons vs ig/assasin in escalation league. Had scenario where he had to destroy one(secret) objective out of six by getting next to it or shoot with siege shell stratagem.

Got first turn so veiled lychguard into his lines and wraiths followed suit. This gave me units to tag his tanks(he started with pask, 2 tank commanders and 2 basilisk) which coupled with 2 dda and 5 destroyers ensured tanks didn't do too much.

Nearly lost game with assasin deep strikes but he took out one objective. Despite 6 to hit with nearly every necron pointed at assasln it died.

Win for necrons. He had literally no real way to succeed even had we played past turn 5.

Played a game last week, 2k Custodes vs Guard.

Was rather nervous when he pulled out a Baneblade, but this was the first time using the Caladius and boy, oh boy did they make short work of it. Turn 1, they take 19 wounds off it, and a couple of Melta Missiles from the bikes quickly finish it off. The large empty space in the upper left of the photo show where the Baneblade was.

The Jetbikes are soon finished off by the Demolisher Cannons, but the Aquilon Terminators soon arrive and wipe out the Bullgryn deathstar he had planned. Alltogether a very interesting game and a great opportunity to see how the FW Custodes function.

That's right. The D3+3 damage is a well-needed boost.

Playing at at tournament. Pics at game 1 where i eeked out barely with entire army firing at shieldless warhound(blast weapons and self nerfed poryphion and bad luck meant it got awfully close after heat issues caused death of 2nd warlord.

Third game and almost first shot from me was laser blaster and 2 jatling blaster vs totally intact reaver that flat out died. Luckiest shot for me ever. Took out warhound and immobilised another andsabotage shut down third. In end his warlord shieldless looking at wrong direction and shut down warhound. Me warhoundw 2 acastus and 2 warlords pointed and likely first fire's

2nd day of at tournament. Game 5. Was being masscared but lf warlords survive scenario could give me win. It didn't. But it blew up big time taking out both of his warhounds! Suddenly my second warlord was only thing within 12" of center so if game ends(20%) i win. It didn't so i tried to stop his warlord getting close but failed. Draw in the end with warlord each as survivors(reaver was also dead)

Last stand of mortis after pathetically weak performance. Warhound cooked head of warlord, my last titan on field. This caused magazine explosion that took out enemy reaver and warhound. Only enemy casualties...only casualties my titans caused were own warhound and 2 lancers when warlord collapsed over them.

Thank you! It's a pretty simple paint job. I primed everything a matte dark brown (from the Rustoleum camo range). I used a big brush to paint most of it with the old Foundation Red paint. The yellow metal parts were painted Retributor Armor and the white metal parts Botlgun Metal. I painted a few other details like dials and wires and some dark grey connectors. Then washed everything with fleshshade.
