Finishes tomorrow, April 26. Now at GBP 89k but no new stretch goals announced after the 80k cultists.

It might not be too late to harass North Star to put a flamer on the upcoming female sprues.

With all this harassment already, there is a real
Danger that the only weapons provided will be flamers

Kinda like Necromunda weapon packs...

Amazon now threatening not to deliver my book until June! Should've gone with North Star.

I ended up cancelling my Amazon one and going all in for the full bundle. Several of the stretch minis are excellent, and the X-Grave sprues are always just so versatile. I may not need them today, but they'll always get used in time.

I wonder how a Frost Grave medley box would sell? One sprue of each fantasy set. There must be at least 10 by now. I might not need 20 soldiers or 20 pirates or whatever but having 5 of each would be cool.

There are single sprues on ebay and at some retailers, pretty sure even North Star itself did a mixed set least once. I can imagine this reduces total sales tho, as you say, you really just need 1 of each.

Unless it had a huge mark-up, I would prefer that to the boxes they sell now.

That may be why they don't do it. As Lord Blackfang notes, "I can imagine this reduces total sales tho, as you say, you really just need 1 of each."

Funny thing is the individual sprues don't seem to trade well on forums that I have seen. I have several oathmark and frostgrave ones I have offered on here/other boards for trade or sale at lower rates than eBay without so much as a pm of interest.

Oh I need 20 pirates..

Yeah I can’t see them doing bundle boxes as it would definitely cut in to sales.
But it’s fine.
I always needed 80 extra models
And maybe a female box when they come...

Earlier in the pandemic, there was a flourishing sprue/bits trading market. I got tons of sprues through the Dropfleet, BFG and Wargames Atlantic Facebook swap groups. The WA group often traded sprues from Frostgrave, Mantic, and other historical kits for WA stuff. Right around the end of last year, the shipping prices and hassle seemed to have jumped for small bits packages, and the trading pretty much stopped across all the boards. Even when the stimulus checks came out there was no big uptick in trades. Maybe things will pick up as the post office recovers and people are more willing to walk into shipping centers to find the best shipping g prices.

Yea personally I wouldn't dream of going to the post office to ship a 5€ sprue in the Times of Rona, I rather save up and place few large orders, see a delivery boy like twice a month on open air in front of the house.

Indeed.
Long term I guess I’m hoping to sell 10 from each of these three boxes as I don’t need that many.
But it’s a case of finding someone in the UK, who wants that bundle, at the right price and right time..

The Stargrave Nickstarter has finished!

You folks spent over £100,000.00. That is phenomenal, thank you very much!

We are putting the orders together now. It's such a huge amount of work it's going to take days to get everything out to you, so please be patient, especially if you ordered last weekend. Look out for an email to say yours has been despatched. (Check your Spam folders as they often get dumped there).

We will make the book and the miniatures available to buy again once all the Nickstarters have been sent.

£115k to be precise. Let's hope I actually play this one and it doesn't join the rules on the shelf of shame and models in the closet of shame.

Going back to our early conversation about sprues, I noticed that Brigade Games in the US does sell Frostgrave sprues for $8.50 a pop.

Are your daughters old enough to play this? There's a father on Boardgame Geek who regularly posts pictures of the family's Frostgrave collection, and mother and children play (although dad has to do the 3d printing and painting). Having four player FG games must be pretty nice, and they are gearing up for Stargrave now.

Sally4th just sent me a shipping notice, so they've filled my animal heads order. I also found a cheaper version of the Bear Avenger on eBay. The Starship of Dr. Moreau is a little closer to reality.

With a litany like that, my First Mate needs be a Mystic. The Captain will be a Biomorph.

Also on eBay, there was a good price on this Battlesystem pre-printed cardboard building set: Cyberpunk Core Set, so that will give me indoor terrain for space stations and bases.

Speaking of the solo rules for free thing.
Does that require buying the rulebook to use?
