So I bit the bullet and bought Slave I yesterday, and I have a game coming up tomorrow!! I was wondering what Loadout I should take!!

I want to use Boba Fett and was thinking of taking Gunner, Veteran Instincts , Homing Missiles and maybe Stealth Device?

But then again I have no idea what I'm doing, so feel free to be as harsh as you like!! XD

I always try to keep this up to date with what projects I'm working on... but they just keep piling up

An easy setup for Boba is Navigator, Engine Upgrade and Expert Handling. It's 48 points and gives you an insane amount of freedom when maneuvering around the table. With Boba and the Navigator you can take any bank and change its direction and speed, plus you can barrel roll or boost afterward.

Fettigator is a great build, but I'd suggest taking Daredevil rather than Expert Handling. Doing any speed bank to either direction then performing a Speed 1 Hard Turn will put you on the flank or almost any craft that has you in at least their Range 2. It's much more effecting than a barrel roll that removed a TL.

Heavy Laser Cannon, Mercenary Copilot and Expert Handling - so far all Slave I seems to have done is be a waste of points :/

The bigger ships take some time to get used to handling. There's a good article on that on the Fantasy Flight website.

As for loadout, I know it mightn't be optimal, but I like running Outmanuver and Navigator on Fett with the Ion Cannon. Given his arc of sight and manuverability it is very easy for him to get his 4 dice.

I'm tempted to try HLC, Engine Upgrade, Navigator and Push the Limit!! The added manoeuvrability will help me a lot I feel!!

After you put together 56 points into Fett, which I don't disagree on. What's your plan with the rest of your points?

Waaaaagh?

I used Fett (as described), Two Obsidian Squadron TIE fighters (My friend runs a Rookie pilot in his fleet and it's nice to be able to shoot before them) and Howlrunner for the extra attack dice!! I tend to do quite well against him, but it always ends up with Slave I and the Falcon flying around until I manage to outmanoeuvre the Falcon and just beat it down at range three with the HLC

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Extra info - he runs Chewie with various upgrades, Wedge with Proton Torpedos and a Rookie Pilot
