Subject: My latest and LAST commission piece - imperial knight - yellow freeblades
I have been doing commissioned stuff for approximately 6 years. It's been a great deal of fun! I'm retiring out of doing commission pieces, but I will be doing my personal collection and exclusively doing a local stores trophy series for warmachine. So if you like my work don't fret, you can and will still see it.
So why am I retiring so to speak? One reason - I have to give the models to my clients after I'm done painting it, and I hate letting my work go rofl. So without further ado a poo or w/e here is the Knight. Questions, comments, and feedback welcomed. Thanks guys for looking.

That Knight looks awesome! I like the yellows and the quality freehand work. Don't really care for all the skulls (personal preference), but they look good.
But that base....what is going on with that base? It looks like plasticard painted grey with some freehand bricks toward the middle. It takes away from all the great work standing upon it.

Yeah the skulls is a freeblade thing via fluff. The base needed to match the owners rest of the army since the guys aftermarket bases for the knigh aren't out yet. It's clear plexi glass cut and painted. Yeah the bricks look painted. It looks really a lot better in person as far as the base goes. Hopefully the actual affer market base comes out soon and I can get the knight on it if the owner wants it. He lives near me.
His bases have molded in bricks, and I honestly don have the free stuff skills to do the molded brick stuff. Thank you for the feedback.

Thank you guys both for the compliments, as well as the rest of you all. I think I'm going to do my personal knights yellow as well. That color was really fun to paint.
