Hi everyone

I found a color scheme for my tyranids which I really like. Namely this: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/e/e8/Eumenides.jpg

The problem is, I'm colorblind, so I can't really tell what all the colors are.
You might wonder "Well if he's colorblind and he can't see the colors, then why does he want to know?"

Sadly, that's not how (my) colorblindness works. I can see colors but I can have a hard time telling what color is what.
For instance, I can tell that the main color of this painting scheme is a dark green (god I hope I'm not wrong because that'd make me look so stupid :p).
What I can't tell however, is what color the highlights are. My initial thought went for a very bright green but looking at it again I'm starting to think it's some kind of yellow.

So the question really boils down to: What colors do you see in this picture and what are they used for?

You don't have to be happy when you lose, just don't make winning the condition of your happiness.

What it looks like to me is Caliban Green (Dark Angels Green) then highlighted with Moot Green (Scorpion Green). The claws and carapace look like Yriel Yellow (Golden Yellow). The tongues and tendrils look like they are Evil Sunz Scarlet (Blood Red). That should be the base colours for you, might need some other opinions on the highlights though.

Hope this helps some.

Melbourne

Dark green fleshy bits with a dark yellowy brown for the chitin plates. The chitin and scything talons also have a light yellow for the feathering/highlights.

It's quite a striking colour scheme.

Jes Bickham no longer works at White Dwarf so you might have a job emailing him. That being said, they may well reply and tell you anyway.
