Barnes aren't the only one. Wayland and many other internet stores have the 25th or 26th posted as release for Wave 5 and Rebel Aces, and our local store here is the same.

And considering the Wave 5 ships were sol at GenCon, they are clearly not still at the printers, so I stopped listening to that status page a long time ago.

They mentioned October as the street date of the next wave during the gencon state of the union seminar IIRC.

Hard to say considering I'm still waiting on my rebel aces which are expected "sometime" this month.

Rebel Aces is out next week.

I don't think Barnes & Noble knows anymore than us at this point, they just put up a guesstimate for now and will change it at some point.

FFG won't put the new ships on the market until they've manufactured a huge supply. So they can take the first few ships off the conveyor belt and sell them at Gencon because it doesn't take that many, but the full release has to wait until a much larger inventory is built up. There are a bunch of Wave 5 ships sitting in a warehouse somewhere that are perfectly ready to be sold, but they won't sell them until ALL the ships are ready.

I think October is overly optimistic for Wave 5 at this point, since they're not even on the boat yet. It could easily be November :/

Awwww man, if that is how late the Wave 5 is going to take, when am I going to see my Scum and Villainy stuff? This saddens me greatly.

There's no way both amazon and barnes and noble have it wrong. Wave 5 will be out before Oct 1.

I've been following the upcoming status page of FFG for years and I've never seen it be wrong. Until it is on the boat, it is at least a month away. After it gets to the "on the boat status", the on average 3-4 week countdown till it hits the FLGS shelves begins.

Bleh, I bought my Rebels on the understanding that Scum were like six months away. At this rate they'll arrive before I even get to play with the fleet I picked up to tide me over.

Nup, but I was hoping that there wouldn't be 2 waves to be released before them after their announce.

Wave 5 is now on the boat, so a 6 week estimate is a reasonable expectation, that is unless it is the same boat they used for Rebel Aces.

Great to hear it's finally on the way! That timing should be perfect for me although that would put the scum & villainy release at the very end of the year at best, right? Seems like they'd like to have it out before the holidays, although maybe that's what's causing the issue.

Just FYI, rebel aces is out in the wild. Miniaturemarket has there's. Unfortunately I'm at work or I would pick mine up right now. It'll have to wait till tomorrow between my jobs .

Also they are having a sale at miniaturemarket.com for their 10th anniversary. Imperial aces and the Tantive both earn you 10x points on your purchases.

I do not work there, I just spend way too much money there as they are less than 2 miles from my house.

So do we actually have a release date for the Decimator and YT-2400 yet?

I was under that assumption we would be seeing them by the end of September but some sortes are showing release dates of November now.

I can't even pre order them through Fantasy Flights own Amazon store.

Latest word is late October/Early November. They just went on the boat last week so best guess is 4-6 weeks. My guess is either last week October, or the following week which has Worlds starting that Thursday.

There was an announcement on x-wing f book page that wave 5 won't make it in time for worlds.
