Recently I've been talking a lot with Dorns-Fist and theHobbyroom (from Instagram) about an updated Space Hulk ruleset. We're making pretty good headway on that but it will be shown later. For now I've made some Dark Angels. I bought the codex when it came out to use for my Star Phantoms but they amounted to nothing and it lay on a shelf for a long time. Having a spare set of Space Hulk Terminators I wanted to convert I wondered to which chapter. Then I saw the trailer for the new Deathwing game and knew which way I would go. I started looking through the codex again. Not to make an army list but to find units that interested me. I knew I wanted to make a Librarian and an Interrogator Chaplain so started there. I've built a couple of units of the DV Deathwing with a couple little conversions nothing major. I've also started to de-bloodangel the SH Termis but I'll push through all that properly later as its going to be a little mind numbing. Anyway, enough blether more pictures.
Librarian.

Interrogator Chaplain.

Random Power Armoured Chaplain.

I will return to my World Eaters at some point but for now this will be my focus. There may also be another little project rearing its head soon.

There is a lot of potential here excellent work.

How exactly does everyone cut off heads and such so cleanly for conversions? I always seem to make a mess...

Cool conversions. I like the power armour chaplain. He's really menacing. And where's the head on the Libby from? I don't recognise it from any kit.

Thanks folks. Glad you like it.

Snrub. The Librarian head is from the Chaos Terminator Lord sprue. I cut the eye off the respirator. I used this head on my first build of my Chaos Lord as well.

Looking pretty cool, and though I kind of panic a bit when I see people chopping up Space Hulk stuff, no denying that's some neat conversion work! Subbed!

Thanks guys, so something's happening that has me a little excited and thankful. New Blood Angels are here. So I've decided this will be a joint project. I'll see how much mileage I can get from the Dark Vengeance Terminators ( I have 25) for the DW and I'll use the SH models as they were intended. On that note the librarian has had a little rework and I've worked on a Capt that started as a commission but the guys back and forth on wether he wants it or not which is annoying.

Perhaps not, but since GW seems to subsist off sadness and pain, I can't rule it out.

Cheers guys, works been a bit mental but had some time today and built myself a few new bits. Paradigm, I have one of the New Tac Squads to build as well as the DC from the Deathstorm boxset. Updates on them soon hopefully.

First was a quick Chaplain conversion to lead my Death Company.

And a Dread for the Death Company

And tried my hand at a Deathwing Dread (in case anyone didn't notice I may like Dreadnoughts) For the head I wanted a Knightly look, it's not quite there yet and I need to order a couple more bits to get what I'm looking for but hopefully you can get a rough idea of where I'm going with it?

Then I realised I had a spare pare of legs so I thought I may as well throw together a Librarian Dread as well. Now with this one im torn. I really like the detail on the torso but I'm not a fan of the face and when it stands next to my other dreads with the oversized heads it looks odd. I need to come up with a way to alter the head to keep it in line with my other models but try and retain as much of the detail as possible. I'll have a play about with it tomorrow.

And just for fun here's a pic of the Chappy and the two Death Dreads.
