Yeah.. I think id say there using it as a title or profession.
They regard a hunter like a job title, a chosen life route not a "race"

They would not understand the hunters are literally a way of life, a race and a more than a career.

They don t understand there a entire culture is based on it.
Far as I know. No one explained there culture in charceter in detail ever. Just what they do and that they hunt monsters.
All they know is they come from villages or settlements, hunt large beasts and don't understand the deeper aide.

OOC Hunters are not a 'race'. They are normal humans, eing bent to abnormal levels by some weird hoodoo gak. The fact that they are being referred to by their profession name rather than their name, in a derogatory/disrespectful/condescending way is almost identical to racism. I don't want to bring anything up here, in case it gets heated and the topic suffers because of it, but this is basically a repeat of the past.
Hunting is a job, nothing more. And the fact that they are being referred to it like that is offensive to them. You wouldn't call your friendly neighbour Bob 'Firefighter' just because of his profession. You would refer to him by his actual name, in a non-condescending way, because he is seen as normal, or apart of the majority in this case. If someone gets pissed at Leo or Jordan, they're instantly referred to as 'Damn Hunter', or something else.

Making assumptions on such low information is risque, for most people. Thus what sparked the argument over Spartans vs Space Marines, due to the Space Marineers having little to no information on Spartans, and yet they instantly say 'They is better cause la and da'. Before questioning or assuming something about ones culture, look into it. It will spark unnecessary conflict if not tended to well enough. And it wouldn't hurt if someone asked 'What do you do back in your village?' Rather than assume 'You are hunters, you hunt for fun and nothing else blah blah blah'.

Jordan can return later. Or go off hunting in the woods and get billy to set up a home on the planet where she can live for a while. Leaves her and billy open to a relationship but separate.

Just because ya break arms, or necks even Leo returned, and the topic survived, everything cools over time. And the. Characters slowly moukd back into place agin.

OOC The racism in the room between Hunters and others will always be there. Nothing anyone can actually do to stop it.

And yeah, I'm just planning on getting Jordan to bugger off, probably off-world somewhere without the racist SoBs, and MAYBE come back later in a couple years of her time. It's up to OT whether he wants to bring Billy along or not.

There's little information on the hunters. There culture or anything not weapons, armour or gear.

I tried to find abit more about them but came up totaly blank.
Even Spartans are more fleshed out than hunters.

The wiki is lacking in information to use.

OOC You actually have to play the games to piece together their lifestyle. The wiki doesn't include information like that. Which is why I'm trying my best to acquire the old games, for even more information.

And of course Spartans are more fleshed out. They have books, a T.V. series. A few mini series, a movie, and about 9+ games.
MH only has a select few games that are translated.

Honestly, apart from some sparse bits of a pre hunter culture. That's all I saw.
