Quick question regarding asteroids. I am aware you can get the Gale Force 9 Battlefield in a Box ones but they don't have the same footprint as the card tokens, right? They just come with standard circular flying bases.

Is there someone or somewhere that sells asteroids on bases that match the card footprint? I know Eggs did a Kickstarter that had some in it but as far as I know, these aren't available in retail yet? Any other manufacturer that does something similar?

Do you have access to a 3D scanner/printer? You can probably make them if you do. Can't imagine it being too difficult, with that on hand.

For what it's worth, I actually like the asteriods that Gale Force 9 makes. Not sure if they're "Tournament" legal, but aesthetically speaking, they look amazing. May pick up a set just for casual play.

No access to a 3d printer sadly. The Gale Force 9 ones are readily available - does not having the actual card template footprint make any discernible difference to the gameplay?

Could you set the GF9 ones over the tokens and just remove them when ships need to directly interact with them?

By all appearances Eggs should be delivering his Kickstarter this month so you might be able to get his rather soon.

I'm hoping to have a little online store up and running in January. I've been making extra for stock as I go. I did a tutorial on how I made my masters though if you're impatient . I think it's in the Dakka tutorial section. I'll have a look for it.

Edit: here's the tutorial:
