Thats friggin awesome That shading around the armour is just amazing, the brush detail is outstanding you really have come on a long way with this Baiyuan ……. nearlly as long as the distance of the picture lol …..

Alright, this is getting silly. (wich is always appreciated ) More to the point: Where is my (and others) fix?! this is cruel and unusual punishment of innocent 3d party individuals! But we can play that game too..
So, either you both show us what we want or I will repaint one of my Alpha Legionaires as an ultra-smurf! Slobbily, with 3-mm wide highlights! And thick clumpy paints.
Then I will set it on FIRE.
And then (once Alpharius picks himself up from the floor and is feeling a tad better from his mild stroke) all bets are off.
I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.

I can't quite work out the base model... it's resin (of some sort) as it's too detailed for one of the plastic kits, but I can't seem to find a model that looks like it has those robes... very intrigued now

This one was well and truly inspired by Blanche and his Alcove of Priests in the Emperor's Will book. Specifically the exhaust and the bionic eye in the shape of church window/alcove. Initially I tried sculpting the fur shawl like the chaos warriors cloaks but I just couldn't get it to work....so I did my best. Very happy with the flak vest under his robes and the random overflow pipe coming out of his back. Initially that was where the lasgun was going to be stashed but I felt having the overflow pipe was more fitting.

Very nice! Your greenstuff work is really getting quite amazing and I think is developing a "look" that's uniquely yours. I think this fellow could use a =I= brand on the forehead, though.

I liked the fur thought it had turned out well myself , I always thought it would be easy to sculpt but find it's a real pain the arse.
