These Leaks have me very excited...


By my count, there are 10 items released so far

The leak could be legitimate.

Beasts of War could have gotten an early edition of White Dwarf which these images are obviously from.
Then they're trickling these images one-by-one in order to keep people oming to their site and checking them out (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Colour me interested, can't wait to fight some of these with my Wolves in a month's time.

Flayed ones a bit of misfire, but never really liked them anyway.

Yeah, but in terms of quality, the Dark Eldar far surpassed these new Necrons. There are one or two nice items (the converted sickle skimmer with the massive gun, the doomsday ark, one or two of the lords, and the teleporting chaps), but I would say about slightly over half of the releases smack to me of poor design choices.

Some of that can be potentially rectified if they retcon well enough, but I find myself a little disappointed; the excellence of the DE release gave me high hopes for a similar quality of xenos release for the Necrons.

Ah well, ho-hum, mustn't complain I guess.

Ok, as much as I hate the hyperbole on that BA/Necron "alliance", that made me chuckle.

I wouldn't call it a leak, more like a sneak peek nice looking stuff though, looking forward to seeing all the other new stuff

This is the kind of thing that makes me rage hard enough to catch the notice of Khorne himself. I guess this implies a confirmation for the rumour that said that GW would no longer release the new ranges in waves, but all in one month. Like they did with the Ogres. DE however had two big waves (november 2010 with Warriors, Wyches, Raiders... and the second one with Scourges, Hellions, the Venom, the Razorwing...) plus lesser releases between and after them (Haemis and Wracks, the beast creatures, Archon's retinue...). I would say that the total amount of new stuff is bigger for DE. And I agree with Ketara, the quality of the new DE range is higher. This one isn't bad at all to me though.

It's turning into the T.O. show in here.

EDIT - Yes, not quite as good as DE, but much better than Grey Knights IMHO.

Not necessarily, I don't see any new Tomb Spyders or C'tan models, and the rumours were that they were going to get redone (if not in their models, then in their rules, which would imply a different model to me). However, it would make sense to put these particular models in the 2nd wave since old models will fill in for them for the moment.

Those models don't look like they could be plastic. The poses are too distinctive to be part of a multi-pose kit, so unless it's some kind of new mono-pose set of plastics, they're Finecast.

The new Tomb Spyder
The Wraiths (plastic or Finecast?!?)
Warriors w/added bitz
Solo plastic scarabs (which are supposed to be much more dynamic)

Rumored items we haven't seen yet include:
Jet bikes
The monstrous creatures
and one other type of vehicle
C'Tan slaves or whatever
maybe 1 or 2 more elites choices (depending on how things count in the FOC)

It would, but aren't just he immortals and warriors the standard troops?

One of the Necrons i guess threw some more gore on his back for later? I don't know, I do not particularly like that one model.

As I remember it from the book, they had "flayer disease" which made them want to rip off skin and wear it.

The thing you're missing about Flayed Ones is that they kind of operate in 'stages'.

The first 'stage' is they pick off isolated outposts, leaving nothing but a bloody mess behind.
The second 'stage' is that they infiltrate into the enemy's lines wearing the flayed skins of their enemies to hide the glint of their metallic bodies.
The final 'stage' is that they reveal themselves, cutting a blood-soaked swathe through the enemy and wearing the bloody hides as an intimidation factor.

If I had to guess, those "corpses" attached to the Flayed Ones aren't corpses. Their victims could very well still be alive.
