Actually, a Single is more than just that. It's from back before CDs, before Cassettes, before 8-tracks. It was a small vinyl disk, imprinted on both sides with textured grooves which, when a needle was slid among them, would produce a small sound that could then be amplified. Singles usually had to be run at 45 RPMs to keep the sound the right pitch.
What? I'm a bit of an Audiophile.

at shrike...what other movies from your grandparents time are you referring to beside marx brothers? or feldman movies?
not to upset you dave, but i never bought me a single in my life... some maxi cd´s back then and otherwise mostly full album cd´s... my musical interest got sparked during my military time... before that only radio... after that mostyl radio again^^ so no real need for me to put in any cd´s nowadays...exept when i do the dishes...then i need some AC/ DC... you really have to try that out... dishwashing to highway to hell or back in black... now that is some cleaning with feeling!!!^^
anyway... i thought this was a thread for building and painting things... so i better start with showing things i stuck to other things...which some people might call building^^

note...once this build is completed the whole model will undergo a massive GS work... to create the right surfaces and amount of detail... hopefully i am able to get that done as planned...

basically just Marx/Feldman ^^
and who doesn't need AC/ DC once in a while?
robot looks cool, though I think the smoke stacks could do with some holes along it... apart from that, as long as you add a few armour plates/rivets for detail, I don't see much wrong with it ^^
