Subject: Space Hulk: Deathwing (Greatest music ever!)
Here's the lyrics, from the other thread, don't they just scream Dark Angels fighting Tyranids to you?
I'm just walking with a ghost
And he's walking by my side
My soul is dancing on my cheek
I don't know where the exit is
I have short hair
And I'm faced with a few complications
So, so if you care
Try to analyse the situation
You know, man
As the leaves fall on the ground
My soul is goin'
Round and round and round
So please, do it well
Just break the spell
Why don't you do it right?
I don't want another fight
I'm not creatin'
My flow with my ego
I'm taking off my hood
And I'm entering deeply in the wood
Fatum Iustum Stultorum
Fiat justitia ruat caelum

Well done, you made it worse.

Lol! taking off my hood and entering deeply in the wood.
Dark angel! With thine aching lusts..... (Of Lionel Johnson's poem, The Dark Angel)
I've never heard something so true to the source material.
That might just be too overt to consider it innuendo.
edit-
That... kind of sticks with you. Maybe it's just the parallels to Kill Bill's musical tone, but that trumpet style always reminds me of suicide missions. I enjoyed it!

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.

Loved it! About time something to get you pumped. We have seen the grim dark music time and time again to the point were it makes it all look the same. This actually makes Deathwing look fun.
Side note:
Lets not pretend that when painting or playing we are solely listening to dark orchestra pieces. Or at least I don't lol. Also they get props for making not feel like I'm at a GW listening to 300's soundtrack on loop...

I would have preferred ranchero music, i just cant stand most modern hip hop, why don't they just dispense with the music and make spoken word tracks, as far as i can tell nowdays the rapping has little to do with the music or beat, or anything really including lyrical sense
Jesus, i'm an old man
Still, apparently the badness of that track killed the britney spears track i had going round my head today, so i'm going to give this track a heartfelt 9/10
Nope, britneys back (bitch?) 1/10

Considering their last game, EYE, which was like some wonderful fusion of Warframe and Dark heresy with the game being 40K in all but license, it's probably going to be awesome.Just for an example of what you could do in EYE, you could hack doors in a manner similar to games like Deus Ex.
Then the door hacks you back.

Eh, the Ranchero music sort of works, since it has a cowboy duel vibe. It's the terrible hip hop lyrics that ruin it. It just didn't match what was on the screen at all.
At least there was fire in the trailer.

It actually reminds me of when I was a student, and friends and I would be sat watching the start or end of the film with music randomly playing in the background. The highlight was Nicolas Cage in 'City of Angels' falling towards the ground in slow motion while The Cardigans/Tom Jones sang the cover of the Talking Heads song Burning Down the House.
Did it go well? Yes. Did it suit the subject material? Absolutely fething not, I can only assume who ever ascribed the sound-track to that trailer was on a cocktail of booze and drugs, or was on their last day with the company and wanted to be remembered
