I plan to use a few Bikes for my blood angels Army as suggested to me by many dakkanians.
The normal Bikes Look fething ugly to me so i looked at the ravenwing Bikes.
Those Look much better.
In my oppinion he feather things Match the blood angels thing quite good.
But as i see the ravenwing Symbol is also on the Bikes.
I could scratch those off and add some brassed etched blood angels Symbols from forgeworld.
Shoulderpads on Bikes could be switched.
Do the ravenwing Bikes also have the sync bolter Option?
And what Weapon options are included?
Last question.. Sounds like a good idea to you?

Other than not playing ravenwing I see no issues.

You can put Blood Angels bikers on Ravenwing bikes just fine. The only real thing you need to do is scratch off the Ravenwing icons and put on blood drops in their place. Not really any more work than that.

Something that might help in terms of scratching off the dark angel icons would be to cover them with small shields from fantasy and put blood angel icons on the shields. Would match the feathers rather well methinks.
I've found this is a great way to add in different iconography to a model and give it a retro/medieval feel.

If you mean the Black Knight bike pack, it looks like it only comes with the plasma option, however the normal Ravenwing biker pack is shown on the GW site with bolters on the fairings.

Yeah, I can confirm black knights only come with plasma for the TL gun (just put a box of them together last week). Plus they don't come with any special weapons (since they can't take them), and the sergeant has a sword or maul. All of the bikers do come with a pistol they can hold and a corvus hammer as well (which no one but DA can use, so yeah).

I genuinely don't know about the standard bikers, I mainly run black knights and my only standard ones are from the DV box.

The standard ravenwing kit is the regular SM biker kit along with the ravenwing upgrade sprues, so it comes with bolters and you don't have to put any Ravenwing iconography on that you don't want. I've been doing this for my own Blood Angel bikers, since the cowl wings and hussar wings are pretty awesome.

The ravenwing command squad is a little different and comes with the plasma talons and a ton of ravenwing iconography molded in. It's a bit harder to deal with, but certainly not impossible. Still, I'd stick with the standard ravenwing kit.

The ravenwing from Dark Vengeance have bolters but also come with all the iconography molded on. It's a bit of a pain to remove but again, not impossible. The upside is, they're fairly cheap to get your hands on.
